If you are in low sec space anyone can shoot at you.
And just for the record i wouldn't advise shooting "Flashy red Guys" until you have built up your skills and experience.
Originally by: XavierOfZieon just people killing small ones for no gain. thats no honor or code. its like smacking a baby in the head with a spoon and a monitor. if you ask me :P

Unless they're in shuttles and they have a big bounty on them, and you think you can do it .

Ok I realize anyone can shoot anyone.. :P
So the way I understand it, if anyone other than the flashy red guy starts shooting me (same corp or not) they too become flagged.

...And the sentries will start shooting them. Yes, I think so.

Edited by: Zephyr Mallory on 16/08/2007 17:46:14 sentries will open fire on the first person to shoot you or whatever else they might be protecting. Once they're shooting someone, other players can feel free to start shooting you and suffer no ill consequences from the sentries unless the first person leaves or dies- in which case they will target someone else. In 0.4 or lower, flashing red just means that you won't take a security status hit unless you shot before the flashy redness started. (They will flash red once they shoot you, you're free to return fire. If you shoot first the reverse applies to them)
