Edited by: Necrocavus on 17/08/2007 10:22:56 How can you do COSMOS things? Where are they? I am completely new to COSMOS thing. As the one with high Caldari Navy standing, where should I start?
And what is standing requirement?

Okkelen constellation for Caldari. Go there, warp to the beacons, talk to agents. There's different levels of agents and afaik the standing reqs are the same as normal agents.

What is the difference between running missions with normal agents and running missions with COSMOS agents?

Cosmos agents have bit more thought missions/mission locations.. They also lay groundwork for immersion and EVE Backstory..
Also, they are 'one time per char' missions.. If you fail, game over. That mission chain is over for you (and most likely losing an early chain leads to losing others since they tend to require items acquired from earlier chains)

Sounds a bit serious, when should you think of doing these cosmos missions ? I.E when you have good cruisers skills, BC skills or BS -----------------------------------------------
Come on you apes, you wanna live forever?

So you don't get same mission over and over again? In other words, you can finish up all COSMOS missions, and you cannot find anymore missions around?
About failing, it is same thing with storyline quests, isn't it?

Correct, although I think it resets eventually. I revisited some I did ages ago and they were available again. Originally by: Necrocavus About failing, it is same thing with storyline quests, isn't it?
Cosmos mission *are* storylines, basically.

How does one go about finding a Cosmos agent?
I'm in Gallente space.
I'm familiar with how to find various regular agents from my lvl 3/4 missions but I have no clue as to how to find one of the cosmos agents.

It depends not only on where you are but also who you've got standings with. If you're positive to Gall and want to increase your standings with them more, head over to Deltole's constellation.

Linkage 1 (The complexes used in the COSMOS missions and their ship class limitations, links not working) Linkage 2 (only for the list, the links are not working) Linkage 3 (Great details on the missions, links are working) Linkage 4 (Great quick reference)
There was one more great guide but it's offline for weeks now.

Q: Why should I bother with a COSMOS agent? Do they give better rewards or are the missions more rewarding?

The best reason I found to do COSMOS missions is the great standing increase you get with that faction. Since *every* mission there is a Storyline (though some are parts 1/5, etc.), you will see your empire factions rise fairly quickly.
Most missions will also reward you with 3-run blueprints of "Storyline" modules, which are often somewhere around Tech 2 in quality but Tech 1 in fitting. Keep in mind, though, that you need some expensive skills and materials to actually use these blueprints.

Aye, lovely BPCs, trouble is to make them you certain skills and specific parts. To get these parts is incredibly hard as the systems and complexes they can be found in are usually camped 24/7 by teams of farmers that will suicide gank you rather than let you get to them....these complexes should NOT be static, instead should be incorporated into the new roaming exploration sites.
Good luck though fella, you can drool over the BPCs and hope CCP get their finger out...
