Yes, i know, yet another lottery thread. I started these mostly buying things of people from FHC but it has grown a bit and i figured why not sharing it here in EVE-O since i want to give a bit more movement to these.
So you want to test your luck?. i will be running different series of lotteries as much as i can, some of them will be for faction ships, others for modules and some for regular ships. if you have something shiny to sell let me know and i might buy it so i can sell~
For now the series running at the moment are the following:
FHCXXX: usually faction ships or shiny things in general
RDMXXX: t2 ships and such, intended to be cheap with lots of tickets
MODXXX: faction/plex/officer mods
LOLXXX: comedy fit ships

I am dumb, how do i play?
lotteries will have different amount of tickets depending on how much money they are, i want to keep prices accessible, you can buy as many tickets as you want of course, i will be using chribba's dice to do the rolls and thanks to API updates the list will be updated on, if you want to see the current status of a lottery just jump to the site.
Sounds great, how do i buy a ticket?
You will send the isk to Clamdongue (my alt) who is in Elements of Harmony [P0NY.], please add the reason listed on the site, it is very important you enter the reason and the reason alone just as its shown on the site, its not caps sensitive. regarding the cost all you need to do is multiply the cost for the amount of tickets you want, below is an example of a purchase of 10 tickets on a lotto that is 1,000,000.00 isk per ticket.

the dices will be unlocked as soon as the lotteries are finished and you will receive a contract for your items within 3 days of the lottery finishing and the contracts will be up as an item exchange for 7 days. if there is any issues you can just throw me an evemail or post here (or PM me too~).

Prizes have been simply held by me, it will be entirely up to you weather yo want to trust me or not, for this kind of sums i believe that looking for a third party would be a waste of both their and my time but if its ends up being entirely necessary then yes i guess i would.
Nobody will probably take my word for it but i am the current person in charge of FailHeap-Challenge, i guess just yet-another silly EVE Forum, i don't believe i have done anything to soil my reputation since i started playing this game and i will simply let it speak for itself, i have played this game long enough to know how this will be heard by most but i guess i could say i have a bit of faith.
The lotteries were moving ~ok~ on FailHeap alone but there's always room for improvement, i intended them to move a tad bit faster and i guess this would be a logical next step.

I am concerned a bit about being scammed of course. I hear players can hire the administrators on your website to do their bidding, like bans and such things. I'm concerned your lax on such things will translate to your lotteries too. Could you please clarify a bit on those things. |

It has been known to happen and as long as its not "permanent" or something honestly offensive/flat out bad i honestly don't care about it, i am a firm believer of good comedy and a bit of drama within reason. But in this particular case i am putting a commitment to deliver the goods if you happen to be the person who gets the lucky numbers, this is why i am using both automated API and Chribba's dice, there isn't much of a margin for me to be "abused" per say, anyways its fundamentally a different subject anyways.
In short words, this will be done by the book, otherwise i won't be making a profit for too long, i intend to run this as a business~

Yeah, the bans Safail does usually parallels her menstrual cycle. So like once a month she hits someone with a temporary ban and losses control of her emotions on the forum, but it's all good. I actually found it hilarious when she banned me.
Point being EntroX can be trusted with this lottery deal. So don't judge him based on some teeny bopper he has as one of the admins.

on the downside what would you lose, by using a trusted third party?
I mean there there is a way to secure this lottery, but for some reason you clearly dont want to make it save. (like all the other legit lotteries did)
btw. the Argument that ppl should trust yo because there is no bad reputation about this char regarding scamming is kinda meh, since that applies to nearly nay cyno or trading alt in this game, and its not exactly hard to create a new twink

You asked and i answered.
I am not stupid enough to bother doing this whole setup and letting the community i represent down for a mere 1b isk, and as Grarr mentioned (but a bit more polite!) its up to you weather you want to play this lottery or not, i do appreciate your feedback and understand your concern. I will consider a 3rd party to hold the rewards if it becomes a roadblock on the long run - otherwise i am not going to wasting both his/her and my time.

There's a community of some seven or eight hundred people(active that is) who are willing to trust him to carry out his promise. He's throwing out his own money to run FHC, I honestly dont' see a point behind him scamming.

The lotto site will be down since FHC joined the anti-SOPA protest.
Ticket purchases will continue to be tracked so if you do purchase some tickets don't worry, as soon as its back up they will show as purchased (or you can just wait until its back up vOv).
