So, we hired this guy. Noob pilot but seemed to be a nice guy. After a while, he started to show some outbursts of childish behavior. He started having trouble with other corp-mates, breaking corp/alliance rules, nothing serious but very annoying. We noticed he was expending way to many ISK for a character of his age/skills so we kept an eye on him.
We sent our cov-ops pilot to watch him and he observed the guy looting other comp member's wrecks and mining/ratting in a very 'macro-ish' way.
The guy finally admitted on corp channel (and I have the log) that he was indeed using macro. He was told not to do it but he replied with "nobody will notice" and "I'm always near the PC and I accept all chat requests".
We expelled him from the corp that day. But he refused to leave alliance space and now he is neutral, perma-docked on the outpost, trying to gain acceptance to other alliance corps. We have been approached by different corps asking for references about this guy. I have to tell the whole story every time.
We don't know what else to do with this guy besides making the issue public on the alliance and filling a petition for the macro thing. We want to be fair on this matter so we would like to know your opinions on this.
Thanks
I had a similar problem when i ran my corp. We had a member who was very insistant upon buyin billions of ISK every month. I finally caught wind of it, told him that i wouldnt continue to harbor EULA breachers and if he didnt stop it that he'd be kicked from the corp. He continued to brag and boast about how he spent his ENTIRE christmas bonus check on ISK. I had enough, gave him the boot as soon as he docked/logged.
HE then joined another corp in the alliance we were in and continued his ISK buying ways even AFTER i told his CEO that he was in ISK buyer. The CEO did nothing about it. Your best bet is to post an alliance email about him thi sway you dont have to tell the story a million times over. PErhaps even outing him on the c/p forums (as many have in the past) would go a long way into making sure this guy doesnt get into a corp (or at least making future employers aware that he is a risk)
