This will make the second time I've posted this in here. It's getting damn well annoying so I'll go into quite a bit more depth this time.
Currently my agent missions are completely unreliable for security status gains. It has to be something to do with the way the missions themselves are coded. I started noticing this around the 5th.
See the following:
I started a level 4 Worlds Collide(Angel and Blood Raider version) mission today with my agent. At 09:19 I received my first bounty for killing an Gist Throne. From then on out, I continued the mission non-stop until 10:11. This involved killing the following:
angel viper
angel webifier 5x
arch gistum phalanx
corpus prophet 2x
elder corum dark priest 2x
elder corpum shadow sage
gist cherubim
gist saint 3x
gist throne 6x
gist warlord 4x
gist primus
gist tribuni
gist malakim 2x
gist nephilim
arch gistii hunter 3x
No security status gains were recorded during the entire mission. That's 19 battleship class rats with no security gains. Around 15m isk in bounties, and no security gains.
So to compare this against ratting outside of missions, I took my alt character in a Domi into 0.0 on the 9th. Over a slow 2 hours of ratting, I managed to get security status gains regularly between 17:39 and 19:02. During that time, I only killed 9 battleship rats and made around 15m off the rats(lots of battlecruisers/cruisers).
And to clarify one other thing: I warped around 12 belts while ratting in 0.0 space. I only activated and warped across 2 gates to do the Worlds Collide mission. I don't want to hear a 'jumping around may cause it' cause that's just bogus. If so, I'd never have gotten any sec in 0.0 space.
I feel cheated in a way.
So my question is, has anyone else recognized this sort of inaccuracy with missions towards their sec status? If anybody at CCP is seeing this, is it going to get looked into?

Hello do you have a Security Status of 5.0? then you will no longer get sec standing by ratting or doing missions. i have the same since 27.07

wrong...getting sec status past 5.0 is just wayyyyy more difficult. Know the facts before you post.

as far as i know is it no longer posible to gain more than 5.0 sec status on normal ways.

Heh, no. I don't have a 5.0 sec status...
I have a -4.1 sec status and it's been below that for a long time.
It was from helping old ladies across the street, I assure you.

Seems to be an issue with only a few missions, since I got an angels extrav last night and got sec gains from it.
Might just be mission-by-mission basis.
Who knows...
