I can get to the char. screen, but when I try to load my character, I get "failed", and it goes back to the char screen. Has been that way ever since server startup after downtime.
Please fix this immediately. After all, the login message says "TQ back up and firing on all cylinders."

I can log in but gates in system are not working so i cannot go anywhere!

TQ farting on all cylinders?
Got the same problem.... Failed during logon. I suppose someone forgot to allow the nodes to load systems?
my guess: anyone not affected by this problem is in a system that is already loaded. Suggest you refrain from moving too much...

Is this the first time you guys log in after a downtime? Its always takes a while for the server to get stable. Its currently accepting thousands of logins at once.

sigh and I was fighting 3 ships when servers go down, Do servers roll back some so you don't die etc if fighting?

Dude Ive been playing this game since beta 2002 I know how long it takes for servers to function after down time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Theres a problem and most likely they will take the servers down again soon.

Just a quick update to get everyone up to speed...
Server still says 'OK' with about 17,000 players, the mini-message says 'TQ firing on all cylinders and back up for business", and it still simply says 'FAILED" when trying to login, without any kind of explanation.

the Proxy servers are down thats the gateway into TQ so thats why we are not getting in now.
