I had a good laugh early this morning, I learned that both Tyrell and Stronghold have joined the Stain Alliance. Oh the commedy. Where do I begin?
Well, first off it is now obvious that the Curse Coalition is DEAD. It is time to officially place their tombstone with other failed groups. PPl are gonna dispute that but, that is all BS. The only CC guys we see are the usuals and they are now SA. Sitting in Empire sucking Scrod isnt and claiming to be "fighting" for Curse isnt even a joke, its sad.
Now, I will address Dalman (whom I must admit seems pretty homorable, if misguided). He decries the CA for adding corps. Well sir, we recruit talent, not strip miners and nub pvp'ers. So in the future, please dont add that argument, thank you. You guys have recruited anyone and everyone you can to try and hold off the inevitable.
Maybe it is time that the CA officially puts a Sir Molly type ransome thread making demads for your surrender. But, I dont think we are done bleeding you, plus its great fun to train or new guys on you.
Please, keep this thread civil and I implore the forum moderators (who do a great job and are under appreciated) to delete flame posts that are innevitably going to be posted.

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome all our new allies. Tyrells especialy are a real nice bunch of ppl. And Mr Reclaimer I feel like we too are training ppl in our fights with the CA. Also are you a member of the CA? havent seen you much, you're prolly on a different time zone or you live in empire. And asking the moderators to delete eventual flames, when you deliberately offended the SAs egos by suggesting we should surrender is like a huge hipocrisy.

Hi, I was inactive for the better part of a month with this account.
From what I know, I agree some Tyrell guys are pretty nice.
I am not asking for your surrender outright, I am simply stating the situation how I see it. If making a request to surrender is the criteria for locking a post I will direct anyone to the now infamous Ragnar'esk "peace" deal offered by one Sir Molly. That was much more redicilious than anything I could dream up.

Edited by: Alynthir on 05/02/2004 11:03:56 Tyrell officially joined the Stain Alliance on 12 Jan 04. The following press release from the Tyrell website should completely clarify our position on the matter and we feel that no other explaination is needed.
Quote: Prior to the Castor patch, Tyrell and the remaining CC corps expanded their attacks in Curse greatly. Through coordination with Evolution and Stain Alliance, we truly believe that the CA was beginning to feel the pain. Tyrell's battleship kill ratio alone against CA was approximately 8:1 during this 3-4 week period.
Then Castor hit. It was well known that the CA was waiting on Castor, pinning a lot of its hopes on the new patch. To a point, that belief has held true, just not in the way that many predicted. It had more to do with economics than any new military tactics. To a large extent, this has had little effect on Tyrell. We have carried on much as before, with minimal disruption except for the occasional nuisance of a CA alt corp attempting to attack us in Empire space.
For a few days near Christmas, a brief attempt was made at forming a peace between the CA and the CC. Bad timing was one factor that killed this effort. Another was the malice and abuse that some CA members held toward even the very mention of peace. More than anything, this sank the hearts of many in the CC as we realized that even though many of the pilots we spoke to would welcome the idea of peace, the more vocal minority would drown them out every time.
Unfortunately, many of the current CA members were not present at the beginning of the war and simply buy off on the party line of how Tyrell and the other CC corps 'backstabbed' the CA. As stated before, and backed up even by Oracle Corps' Sarkos in his recounting of events, none of the CC corps were ever a member of the CA, so no back-stabbing could have taken place.
Of course, this is all a matter of perspective. Looking back it becomes easier & easier to believe that the entire 'Civil War' between the CC and CA was a simple matter of miscommunication. I suspect that there were also many corps who were just bored and wanted someone to shoot at and any good reason would do.
The CC, at first, was nearly twenty corps strong. But war quickly separates the men from the boys, and also exposes those who are just plain cowards. Section XIII is a prime example of this. They were a member of the CC and friends of Nexus Enterprises, but their CEO put "Member Curse Alliance" in their corp description! The day hostilities broke out all over Curse, Workbench of Section XIII lost a Tempest to Everlasting Vendetta's Falcon Wing. Instead of sorting the incident out, they decided to just leave their corp description alone and start shooting at CC people!
Those CC corps that remained fought tooth and nail, but the CA propaganda machine continued to swell their numbers and build a power base that no amount of battleship or Indy losses could put a dent in. After nearly seven months of endless bloodshed, even the most hard core of the CC's PvPers were growing weary of it all.
Two months ago, several member corps of the CC met with the goal of consolidating their assets and moving forward with a common purpose toward a common set of goals. These talks eventually led to the merger of several CC corps and the reformation of Tyrell into one of the largest corps in EVE.
As a result of fighting together in the past and other factors, Tyrell currently enjoys one of the most active player bases in the game. Our scope of operations is truly massive, ranging from continued PvP operations to a massive and coordinated R&D Division. Over the last two months, Tyrell has gone from a member of the Curse Coalition to an organization whose weight of numbers has become a real advantage.
In an organization this large, the leaders of Tyrell have fielded many questions from our employees as to what they want the future of this corp to be. We've held internal polls and debates, discussed options at weekly meetings and so forth. Many ideas were debated and all of those discussions have led to the following decisions.

Quote: 1.) Tyrell Corp officially withdraws from the Curse Coalition. Although we still consider Curse our original homeland, we accept the fact that the current game mechanic (lack of truly controllable territory and no player owned objects, among othersą) prevent us from taking the war to any sort of conclusion for either side. In addition, many in Tyrell feel that with the dissolution and booting of corps such as Sinister and Red Corsairs that our goals have been partly accomplished. In light of these and other factors, we have decided to move on.
2.) Tyrell Corp officially joins our friends in the Stain Alliance by accepting membership into that organization. For months, Tyrell, and the former corps that now swell TyrellĘs ranks, have fought and died with corps like Everlasting Vendetta, the Collective and MASS. We have made many friends in Stain and were recently extended an invitation to join what we consider to be one of the most powerful alliances in EVE. After much debate and analysis, the members of Tyrell have voted overwhelmingly to support such an action.
3.) Tyrell intends to make its home in Stain and shall help defend the regionĘs borders and internal territories against any and all aggressors.
These decisions have been made without regard to the EVE Community at large. While some may continue to browse and post on the various online public forums, the vast majority of Tyrell employees will not. The days of 'Forum Warfare' for Tyrell are over. The choices Tyrell has made for itself are Tyrell's own and were made for the reasons in the above statement. Further speculation on the matter is futile.
Tyrell now looks forward to a long and productive membership in the Stain Alliance. We are honored to lend our strength to help maintain the security and sovereignty of the Stain region.
As for the CC, while it is my understanding that it still exists, I have had no real knowledge of thier activities since shortly after the new year. Quite frankly, I've got enough to do because Tyrell is in the process of a massive, but very sucessful, organizational re-structure and our obligations both internally and to the Stain Alliance come first.
One last thing tho: Reclaimer, are you sure you didn't buy this account from someone? Because the guy who had it before you was really mean n' stuff. _____ CLS Civil Affairs Bureau

Edited by: The Reclaimer on 05/02/2004 11:12:21 Edited by: The Reclaimer on 05/02/2004 11:11:47 I took some time off and I got some charisma implants. I paid a mad docotor from the Angel Cartel to do some rewiring to remove the willpower slot and make it a general one, since CCP killed willpower. Plus, honestly I had too many suspensions before, next one will be a month . I am too lazy to type in one of my other accounts.
My mods have had some "interesting" effects. It seems I can see straight through ppls bs (not the ship now. Isnt that cool guys?

Doubt there will be a conflict that lasts longer than the CA vs SA one.
From my recent expereince Tyrell have moved into stain and are now conducting operations there.
Hope they find their new home comfortable, their going to be in for some real PvP rollercoaster ride. Already we've nailed a lot of their ships in raids into stain.
It's been fun so far, for both sides im sure.

Tyrell corporation operates from Syndicate, tyrell himself was podkilled by us in his battleship in 6-CZ49
Tyrell corporation's own press release clearly states that they have no interest remaining in Curse Coalition.
