Looking for opinions on what the best T1 cruiser to take out interceptors would be.
Im thinking:
Caracal with light missles or rockets,
or
Vexor with drone tracking upgrades -------
Is that a Templar? The Amarr fighter used by carriers? |
Bishop 5
Gallente Macabre Votum INVICTUS.

i'd use a vexor with 125mm t2's, 1600mm plate, warrior t2's and some drone upgrades... although you'll still probably never catch the *really* quick inties. -------------

Definatly the osprey. Why? Because they will come all over you like flies. Once webbed they see their fault but it is allready too late.

Caracal with a full row of assault launchers, or a stabber with autocannons and assault launchers. ------------------

Caracal + light precision = Hurt ceptor.
Have a screenshot somewhere ^-^' managed to warp out with 11% structure left. 126 hull doesnt last very long against light precisions either so was lucky.

arty + mwd + dual webber rupture.
no idea if it'd work, but it seems to make sense.

Stabber with 180mm acs and as many warriors as can get in its little bay:P, I fought a cyclone with them the other day in my crusader and i was using close range, it hit me almost every shot ...

if the ceptor comes into web range any cruiser will dispatch it really quick. Against the long range ceptors caracal with assaults and light precisions would be best.

Close range, just about any cruiser. Long range (outside of web) a missile boat, but time your launches just right so they catch them coming back towards you for another drive by, that's where the hurtin lies.

Prolly not, I avoid vexors like the plauge. NOS + WEB + Light Drones = Dead
Course if I find one one sitting in a belt with 3 mining lasers on it, well that's a different story
