All the time when i am online people complain that they have to wait 24hrs in order to jump clone, as thats how long you need to wait between jumps. what i propose is a skill that reduces this time by 4hrs per level, meaning at L5 the lowest jump gap can be 4hrs.
to make it so the skill cannot be too quickly trained, you could make the skill have a training time multiplyer of say (5) or (8). Should be placed on learning skill rack aswell with a primary attribute required of charisma (as many people do not increase charisma on learning as it has few uses, therefore this wud give charisma meaning) and perception as a secondary attribute (because it wud balance attributes needed for those who concentrate on training for pvp which requires a high perception and no charisma)
i feel this would be a popular new skill as it would benefit so many.

Have to agree. To be honest, even a 6 hour drop would make a big difference, because you could decide at the beginning of each day where you wanted to be. As it is the 24 thing means that you can get stuck in the wrong place, or the wrong clone.
At lower jump time would probably really encourage people out into 0.0 cause you could just try it. Maybe 4 hours would be too little, but down to 12 hours would be good.

Edited by: Sazkyen on 20/08/2007 15:22:29 What about finally removing the loss of implants from the game? You would be surprised how many people would PvP who now don't want to.

What I'd like is for clone vat bays to have a jump clone timer reduction. Instead of 12 hours, it would be one hour. That way you could clone jump to the corp's Rorqual or mothership for a mining or combat operation and after an hour you could jump back again to your home base. Jumping into your home base, however, WOULD set off the 12 hour timer so it's something you could realisitcally only do once a day. It means you can have operations lasting less than 12 hours, basically.

I always thought 24 hours was too long, so signed.

I agree that being able to reduce it to less than 24 hours would be great, though I think 5%/level / 18 hours L5 is more than enough.
Maybe better yet would be system where you could jump any time you wanted. You'd just run the risk of losing skillpoints if you did it before the timer. * * * In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

yeah i think 5 or 10% reduction would b better as it means not 2 drastic a reduction. then in addition to this, the clone vat bays suggested cud give a further reduction.

There is a reason for the wait between Clone Jumps. I think it was something to do with not wanting powerful Alliances to have the ability to have all their pilots Clone jumping all around to quickly defend their space.
Could get interesting if it was significantly reduced.
