Not a scam when you consider that you don't pay any cash on the top of this. Not a good deal, certainly, but not a scam.

Also not a scam because the requirements on the BP are actually wrong. The new code to make sure you can't refine items for more minerals than you make them for means that BPs are reporting far lwoer mineral reqs than they actually need. If you can find a factory somewhere you can see for yourself.
But seeing as you have access to a Moa BP my guess is you already knew this and are frantically trying to discredit terraDyne Syndicate's production facilities in a futile attempt to draw more customers to your own overpriced ships.
We're almost full on orders for now. Can take 2 more and then all further requests will be fulfilled on Friday.

Assuming the manufacturing char has a high production efficiency and the BP has had some mineral efficiency research done then they are asking for twice as much minerals as they actually need to make one ship. This is still not a bad deal though, 8.2 mil is still a good price for a Moa. I don't think you could call it a scam, they didn't claim they were giving them away at cost.

I suggest you put that bp in the factory with no minerals in the hanger and see what it ACTUALLY requires. You will be suprised. As I told nails last week, who was suppose to tell you, the mineral requirements on the bp are wrong now.

I know they're wrong, but not nearly as high as they want for them. It's most likely easier to just get 12m isk than to get all those minerals for the people that are going to be buying Moas instead of building them.

I will agree with Miriel on this. While the mineral could be better... this is a great deal for a cash poor corp. Even if you calculate the mineral listed above it's only about 9.5mil at current market. So that is still pretty inexpensive for a MOA. Sabahl and Terradyne are on the up and up. This is not a scam. I have delivered my minerals and got 1 MOA in return. I was very happy with the whole process and will do business with them again.
