Okay, I know there are lots of threads on this and explaining a lot of what is happening. BUT:
Lets pretend I am a 9 year old kid that has no clue what everyone is on about, and I own say about 1bil isk in EMFI shares. (The one that is like the mutal fund). Now explain to me if my shares are garbage still, if they are about to make a comeback and if so who is running it, and the basics please.
Sorry for antoher thread but between the 3 or 4 corp mergers closuers and such atm, I am pretty much lost. -----------------------------------------------

EMFI is getting some love from a new CEO. The last I saw is that an updated NAV statement is expected early this week. Reports prior to the CEO handover indicated that EMFI had recovered almost all of the value lost when the ISS stations went down. Si non adjuvas, noces (If you're not helping, you're hurting) |

There is a new CEO, Ghost Emperor, whose other characters include Shiva Shakati and Asriel Grumman, the H-TI CEO.
An updated NAV was released earlier today, and it stands at a little under 101b. So if you bought shares at 10k or under you're fine, if not you'll have to wait a few months for it to reach the 12-14k mark again. So, no, you shares are not worthless. There is a new CEO, Ghost Emperor. Other characters include Shiva Shakati and

Thanks for the quick answers. I have seen most these threads but AAPT and some other things start getting involved and I end up clueless at the end.

Hi Proton We have just done a handover audit and the Value per share is back around the launch price, or 10,000isk per share. All assets are in place and dividends from shares have been higher than expected. The fund has increased in value about 20billion in the last 3-4months.
The shares do have value and should start to provide some form of dividend income. On the handover of CEO role from Naphtalia's character (EMFI Manager) to me there was a dividend of 862million paid, this was not a full months dividend but just to show a clear break for investors.
The outlook is that the monthly dividend income from the shares owned should produce some form of dividends if there are no more major shocks (like those EMFI Manager (the previous CEO) had to deal with, ISSO outposts meltdown etc).
As a sa***uard, for those with any concerns they can be sold back to EMFI at any time. There are buyback orders on Eve Game Stock Exchange for 8,750 today and 9,000 in the next couple of days. Or contact me if orders have been filled Hope this helps?
P.s Thanks for fielding the question guys Visit the EvE Galactic Stock Exchange in game or out

Just a quick question here.
I calculated EMFI to be worth about 103b at conception. Now, obviously we had that loss, which resulted in dividends being used to increase net worth back up near that 103b mark.
That's all fine
But we now have a 890m dividend paid out, and I am just wondering if this is the kind of monthly dividend we can expect? Because that comes to about 0.9% ROI for approx 4 months of business.
Not trying to cause trouble or anything, just want to make sure that this dividend isn't going to be an indication of future monthly dividends.

Not to be a drag... but it's EvE Galactic Stock Exchange
Anyway, I have been doing business as broker with Ghost Emperor. Seemed very polite and professional and I can confirm that he made the buy orders for EMFI shares on the EGSE website.
Let's get the ball rolling again, money to be made!

Ghost is "restarting" the NAV at 100b; i.e. he's dividending anything above 100b (890m) and then starting from scratch with the original dividend %, capital growth %, and salary %. So capital growth will restart from 100 billion.
Odds are the dividends in the future will be much higher; this is not an ordinary monthly dividend.
