I just visited Old Man Star, the location of the Senate Bureau. Security rating: 0.3
I then moved on to Ladistier, home of the President Bureau. Security rating: 0.2
Now I don't know exactly what it is, but there is something fishy about this. I mean, the Federation being one of the four major empires in this universe, and two of their government branches being in near to lawless systems?
Go ahead and start your siege, Pojo. This time the Gallente truly deserve it :)
To LeKjart and the others who are responsible for the IC-environment, this should really be looked at!

That makes perfect sense, the Gallente Senate are a bunch of crooks, I'm sure the president would get arrested in more secure space

I doubt that. If I can watch the Gallentine Fleet and NPC rats orbit 15KM out from each other the President has nothing to fear.

Ohhh, If your going to fix that, then fix Tierijev - it's supposed to be a Caldari faction system, but the map says it's owned by the Gallente...

We'd also like travelable corridors at the imperial borderzones. Having to go 110 jumps with a -5.0 is ridiculous. One can still have plenty of CONCORD patrolled space and with the super highway, you also have secure travel space. Ignoring the gridders at Yulai.

Good post :) Another thing I noticed is that Mannar is 0.2 and Intaki 0.1 . According to the chronicles, they're the races that the Gallente recruited into the federation. Shouldn't their sec rating be higher?

Also, maybe you should look into grading down the known gatecamping and pirate systems. Some of them still have reasonable sec ratings, and they are obviously not - in other words doesn't a system take a hit in sec rating when there were like 300 shipkills in the last week or something ?

Smuggler gates will prolly allow fast travel around outer regions next patch.
