Species 5618 is re-forming under new leadership. We are a corp that has been around for years and accomplished a lot in our time. We've had our ups and downs and are now starting all over again with a fresh start. We already have a good start on a capital fleet and are working hard to increase corp member numbers. Our standards are high as we take pride in the good PVP name that species once had. So requirements to join are high as well. If you're looking for a new home with good experienced members, Species may be the right place for you. Now is the best time to join as you would be a big part in helping to decide our future. Any good corp must have a industrial side as well, so miners are welcome to join. We require that you be ready to PVP when the need arises.
 Members of PURE alliance
Access to 0.0 (Vale of the Silent)
At war ATM so plenty of pew pew
Requirements
 Skilled PVP pilots & miners with TS
At least be able to fit a BC for PVP (certain exception will be made for a motivated pvper)
Miners should at least be in a retriever
Good sense of humor, for the most part this is not a family atmosphere, so you got to be able to take a joke.

<- old species member here (and possible future member as well).
Species used to be the top PVP corp down south along with MASS and if someone is capable of bringing Species back to the top of the PVP game it's Konzul Proutek, one of my top 2 FC's of all time, if not one of the best in the game.
So if you want PVP, this corp can give you plenty.

bump for a great corp, allways a pleasure to fly with these guys and did so in Stain Empire (original one) and then Kaos Empire.
You cant go wrong with these guys for pvp.

I'll admit, I've been blown up by one of these gents and have not yet managed to return the favor. While I hold no illusions or claims of PvP greatness, I consider myself a competent pilot and as such, cannot deny this corporation the prestige and honor they deserve. They have earned my respect through a mere handful of encounters where no lack of ability, dedication, respect, or composure could be found.
If you fancy yourself a PvPer, drop an application before it fills up with less talented men and women. You would only have yourself to blame.
edit: Don't expect these requirements to stay, with less space you'll likely be required to compete for your place with even higher standards. Honestly, I'm shocked at how generous the initial criteria is. They regularly field pilots vastly superior to this and so will you if you choose to join.

i remember my time in species during the original SA vs. CA conflict few years ago... many battles, spreading fear among our enemies, lots of fun on TS, great memories 
this corp is a winner, especially with its new leadership.

Anyhow, I can say I am proud to of been a founding member of 5618 the first time round and honors that I helped shape it and help lead its direction the first time. Shame how things turned out, but I am sure under its new leadership 5618 will flurish once again.

part of my beginnings in eve career aswell as SGE, this corp is part of my eve family and it will always hold a special place for me so i wish them well and could not think of a better place to be than species 5618

Ahhh! Species 5618, our good old friends from Stain and Kaos Empires.. my companions from the first alliance tournament. Nice to see you guys active again, out there doing your thing. Species definetly have their own style in PvP, even if you are an old fart you will learn a few tricks from them.
You are guaranteed to have fun with these guys, just make sure you log on to TS

Man Konzul seeing this link brings back alot of fond memories from our time in SA before the alliance system was ingame. Running around up north ****ing off the neighbors and everything. Species then was top knotch as i am sure they will be again. Was one of the few corps i can say did everything and was involved in everything. Good Luck to you and your recruitement. Damn i need to change my sig....

Lol Torment, how the hell are ya? Species has had their hands in just about everything in this game and its good to hear all positive comments withing this thread. As for me, IĈm still on break till this fall. After a few years of constant play, a well deserved break is welcomed.

We have had a lot of luck lately recruiting cap pilots and are starting to have a need for regular pilots. This may be a a$$ backwards way of recruiting but hac, BS, and tacklers are welcome to check us out as well.
The main question I get asked while speaking with people about joining the corp is, What are our goals. So I'll put them up here to make your decision easier. 1st We are in the rebuilding stages of things and that puts you are founding new members right in the middle of deciding our next goal. Like I said we are an old corp and are attracting a lot of experienced members but our numbers are still low and we need pilots of all types. The most attractive aspect of this corp is the feeling of community. We're all good friends and making new ones daily. We make you feel welcome and are quick to help one of our own in need. You will not be just another number in this corp, you will have you say right along side the CEO and directors.
