I am doing some looking around and different Corps and how do the members of Xanadu like being part of this Corp? Any comments?

Um, sorry to burst your bubble but posting on a Public forum requesting information concerning said corps members feelings about their own corp will get you no where with honest answers. This is best done in private.
It is akin to ****ing in the wind if you catch my drift.

We're really more of a gaming community then a corporation. If you want to find out what Xanadu is really about, join our IRC server, irc.xanaducorp.net and join #eve. You'll find alot of our members there at all hours of the day.
My oppinion of this corp is that it rocks. Friendly members who love this game, great teamwork, and leaders who care. ;)

well i doubt many other corps can turnup with an international meetup comeing soon ;)
Also Xanadu is not just limited to Eve, our players engage combat together in many other games.

well i used to play against xanadu in another game. thing about xanadu is the members. we are all dam nutz when it comes to putting in hours so thats basically how xanadu got to where it iis.
one of the main things i like about xanadu is the infastructure..we have mirc website and all...
also we work for the corp not just with it
we get points for the work we do which we can buy items from xan with.. any bs and ship or item.. which is cool.
also i have played with some of xanadu for like 2 years in this and other games so we rock !!!

Experience and dedication...
is how I percieve Xanadu.
Many of the corps that consider themselves l33t in this game still has a lot to learn from Xanadu. These guys have a track record of playing community games for years.
A lot of people argue about what kind of game Eve is. Pvp game, mmorpg whatever.
One of the only corps that understand what this game is about (and what it takes to 1 day claim the "throne") is Xanadu.
This game aint about l33t skills, uber modules or how big you wallet is. It's about the strength of your community and your relation with other communities.
Eve is still in its infancy - when the game reaches maturity Xanadu is one of the corps I trust will be contenders.
On a more down to earth approach the have some great people that you'll enjoy playing with.
@Robotek: havent you got a banged up scorp to repair?

Xanadu is a community more than a eve corp we are very different form most corporations with our infrastructure and we are not focused on 1 area but focused on many, quite successfull in all the areas.
Members..i see them not as eve-players i see them as friends i value a lot being a part of this community (first joined in the year 2000).
We dont recruit publicly and members are selected carefully, wich is the basic for a healthy community. Ofc Xanadu is not something all like or want to be a part of but i still respect those members who were xanadu and helped building the community like
Discorporation,Shakaar and others, even if we couldnt provide them with what they wanted form the game, but as sayed we are a community and not all are suited for that.

Thank you slam for the kind words! We at Xanadu are happy to have such good relations with BIG. And ofc we do like the BIG-videos :)
Xanadu exists since the early days of CS beta, and has developed to a very stable community. Grim, zip and myself are leading this community since 4 years and do our best to entertain our members and gurantee them a xanaduish gaming exp. :)
Many will come to the xanadu gathering in vienna, perhaps we will see some guests from the eve-community?
