After a long summer vacation we're back with the Live Dev Blogs! First out is QA who will answer all your questions about Quality Assurance and what it is they do.
To participate in the Live Dev Blog you have to have EVE Voice active and join the in-game channel "Live Dev Blog". If you can't make it we will provide a downloadable copy of the chat on Friday and as soon as we can we will also add a transcript.
This is the discussion thread, please do not post your questions here, just discuss the Live Dev Blog!

I would like to ask what the QA department does so I can ask them questions they can answer... is that allowed
like would asking about t2 ships be a waste of time? I think so.
would a question about petitions be more relevant?

so WTF!?!? did the live devblog even take place?!
WHAT WAS DISCUSSED?! I would have thought the thread would be 10 pages by now..... WTF!! someone answer me!

I doubt that, but the decision to use eve voice probably reduced the participation a bit. At least it made me stay out of it.

Yeah I've been looking myself and I even created a post about it on the general discussion forum with limited feedback. Usually a player will make his own recording and release it at lightning pace but this time its been suspiciously quiet. No forum discussions about what was said either.
Maybe it was cancelled? Though no news about that either

Sooo way back when live dev blogs began they were recorded and hosted in no time... by both CCP and community members... this one seems largely ignored :( what was missed, I couldn't attend. Anyone got a recording?

We need to make the raw recording into something you can listen to and get it uploaded. Normally this would be done on the following Friday, last week, but CCP was out on some sort of team building exercise. Hopefully we can get it up today.

I would really appreciate this!
LiveDevBlogs were a chaos from start till now. Transcripts were always delayed extremly (except if it was supplied by players).

So, I started the trial of Eve Voice a day before the Live Dev Blog, and then forgot to log in to listen in to the conversation. Did anyone happen to record it? Even a "raw" version without any editing would be fine. I'd be happy to edit it, and send it in to CCP for hosting if requested.

I'd complain aswell if I didn't believe that everyone was busy with the recent patch deployment.

As you may know RealX is our Dev working on the EVE sound and he also made the soundtrack, he is also the guy who fixes the raw recording into something you guys can download and listen to. Unfortunately he has been disconnected from the internet the last few weeks, but he is now back and he has the recording. As soon as he's done fixing it we will upload it.
