Who agrees that CCP should create a button in the esc menu to change characters, rather than relogging when you want to change chars?... it would be faster!... consider it part of the NFS updates! Nito Musashi	Posted - 2007.08.22 05:26:00 - [9] Guild wars was fun only played the initial release but the storyline was great the quests were awsome and the pvp was balanced perfectly. Only problem is wasnt enough pve and unless you were in a great pvp guild you were pvp fodder. Tho i am tempted to pick up the new expansion possible because it does look interesting. Oh and no monthly fees for gw not a small point since i could play or not play and be out nothing more than the disk cost so i definately got my moneys worth when i played. Oh and switcing characters without logging signed.

When you hit esc there was a Go to Character Selection Screen button. Think they took it out because it made it even easier to log off, then log on real fast with an alt to make yourself disappear when being attacked. -------------- Director. Just make it take 10 seconds to go to character screen.

Good point Mr. State, - Make it possible to switch to an alt ONLY when you are docked at a station, wouldn't that solve that problem?

Delay is already pretty minimal. CONCORD provide consequences, not safety; only you can do that.

Delusion 'Fel Minmatar Nefarious Ratiocinations Zzz	Posted - 2007.08.22 12:48:00 - [23] log to character select would be nice, but to be honest, as the only way to realistically run it would be to have it work with a delay, i cant help but feel it would probably be faster (and probably better for your system - reloading info to ram rather than using old, potentially incorrect or verging on corrupt data) to simply shut down the client and reconnect as we do already.
