I've tried to hold off as long as I can, because I don't want to jump into a ship I'm not ready to fly (My Caldari Navy standing is 6.5 so I'd like to get in there soon)

Warhead Upgrades IV

Tactical Shield Manip IV
Engineering IV
Electronics IV
(Both of these are high priority to V in the near future)
Caldari Battleship III
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

It seems people feel ready for ravens with 1m SP, and tbh ravens are so damn easy to use in PvE they can get away with it.
My son, you are ready.
BTW, out of interest is this an e-peen thread, showing off your ?skills? i can never tell.
(P.S. sorry if i seem a bit pugnacious, i dont meen to be mean)

I don't believe my skills are anything to galk at so I have no intent to put them on display for that reason.
My Eve mentor, the pilot that got me through the first couple months before he left, told me to always make sure you're ready for the ship before entering, not after its blown up and you're saving for another.
I'm just trying to make sure I'm making the right move.

Then i'd say, for lvl 4s, yes. Although you wont be mowing through them till you have pimped skills like BS lvl 5, pimped implants (crystals) and pimped modules, DG invuls, gist boosters etc.
Otherwise lvl 4s are very doable in a raven with those skills, but may require warping out and more than one attempt.
As a rule i wouldn't suggest using caldari at all for pvp  so pimped skills are a must, deffo get Caldari BS V (unless you're going to go for another races' BS), and even mini skills like rapid launch 5 and shield op 5 will help dramatically.

Your skills are most definetely more than adequate for a raven and lvl4missions. Ive run lvl4s a long time with far worse than your skills with ease so you should not have any problems at all.

Thanks for the input. I know I don't have super skills to do the missions with ease, but just wanted to make sure I have enough to start playing with them.

Should have energy system op and energy man to IV too. You missile skills are more then good enough for level IVs but your engineering and BS skill should be your top priority from now on. BS, ESO, EM, SC and SM all to V and level IVs will be a walk in the park after you know the missions in and out.
