The site is still in a concept stage, but I need some opinions on the layout and design. Play aroung with the visual settings, and let me know what you think.
(You need Flash 6 to view the site. oh and no pre-loader or optimizations yet, so if your on dial-up it might take a while to load. ~780kb )

The text is a little hard to read, but the graphics are nice enough.

You can play around with the Color and Alpha settings in the Visual Config Panel (Bottom Left Button) if the text is hard to read. Then again I may need to find a clearer font...?

Nice start anyway, text is hard to read, but the rest is nice.

Thanks for the feed back thus far.
Pixel (bitmap) fonts are a must for small legible text in flash. Unfortunalty I have yet to find one that is both readable and stylish. My search will continue. Did everyone try different alpha settings for the windows? I find at 50% the text is very readable, but it somewhat detracts from the visuals
Whats everyones favorite/least favorite color and alpha scheme?

I woulden't use red and shades of red color. It's not pleasant for the eyes, imho.
Keep on flaming, lamers.

Did you try any of the other color schemes?
I see the font needs work, NP. Now I would like to know what color and alpha schemes people like/dislike. I'm working on a "color picker" that will allow an infinite choice of colors and alpha settings to please all tastes. The only problem with this flexibility is supplying enough screenshots to match any specific settings.
Such big aspirations, such little bandwidth...

That font has to go as many already stated, you may also consider making the interface main body a little bigger. I like the 'interface' look and its very good stuff overall.

I would advise this... Don't assume that everyone who plays Eve has the same level of web savvy as you. There are many here who are geek, and as such, a visual config panel is intuitive. However, many gamers, casual and otherwise, are just like regular people. If a site isn't immediately usable, they'll skip it. You might think, as some do, that if the reader isn't "1337" enough, you don't want them... But I'd suggest that you might be overlooking players who may be very valuable in game.
Aside from that, I found that I really liked the blue and green schemes, at about 75%. I think the site is quite stylish. I run a desktop at 1280x1024 on a 19inch CRT, and I'd like more of the site to use my real estate.
All around, you got skill... Keep usability in mind and with your obvious creative and technical talents, you'll have a top rate site.
