Hi all
My character has existed almost since release, but I've had a couple of long breaks from the game (the most recent for the past year, I've just reactivated my account) so I've got a bit over 14M skill points at the moment. A lot of these are in spaceship command, with a lot also in Electronics, Gunnery, Engineering and Navigation - I'm a combat character, not a miner or an industrialist (I really hate mining).
My specialisms are:
*Scouting - I have Covert Ops 5 and Astrometrics 4 (so I can use all probes except Observators), I am an experienced safe-spot buster, though it looks like some new probes have been introduced since I last played and I'll have to look into how those work. I enjoy scouting missions and fly a Buzzard *Interceptors - weapon of choice is either the Crow or the Taranis, can also fly Caldari and Gallente Assault Frigates. *Recon ships - Last skill I trained before I left the game last was Recon Ships 5. Although I don't own one and haven't tried them yet, I can fly Caldari Recons and am looking forward to making the upgrade from essentially toothless Cov Ops frigates to something with a little punch. A Recon will be my first purchase once I'm in a position to spend money on anything other than essentials. *Electronic Warfare - My original chosen specialty was EW, consequently I have good EW skills and experience. BS of choice in a fleet battle (if I'm not scouting) is the Scorpion (I can also fly the Raven).
I was in ASCN until I left the game last (part-way through the BoB war last year - I spent three weeks straight watching gates in TPAR-G and TCAG and got bored out of my mind, eventually couldn't make myself log on), but since ASCN no longer exists I'm looking for a new home. I have experience of fleet scouting, including positioning to warp a fleet in on an enemy fleet - I was asked to do this once during that conflict, positioned myself, the fleet was ordered in (comparable numbers) and I called initial targets, the result was an ASCN victory - BoB withdrew with some losses (something like 5-2 to us) and left us in control of the gate we'd attacked.
For all that, I'm relatively inexperienced at small-gang and 1v1 PvP, though I'd like to do more. I've got a couple of kills and a couple of losses, but that's it - covert ops pilots don't get a lot of kills (though I probed out a Vulture who'd run away once).
I'm looking for a close-knit PvP corp, ideally. I want somewhere where I log on, people say hello and then ask if I want to come help kill something. I'm not particularly looking to become a pirate, though I'm willing to consider it if the corp offers what I'm looking for (I'm not a griefer though, and I'm not willing to participate in ops that have no purpose but to **** bystanders off). I want to avoid mining as much as humanly possible, I really hate doing that and my mining skills are poor anyway.
My character is currently stuck in one of the old ASCN stations, so I have to negotiate a way out for me and my gear (I could of course make a break for it, but if I do that I'll be abandoning most of my stuff). There will therefore be a bit of a lag before I can get back on my feet, but I'm hoping I can find a corp that's right for me. :)

VoxDei,
Paxton Industries is not a pure PvP corporation as you can see by our name. We have though recently setup home in a constellation in Providence and we are in need of PvP pilots. Within the immediate area there is always the opportunity to PvP and there is a regional channel dedicated to locating any hostiles. This could provide you with ample opportunity for small gang or if you are lucky, 1v1 PvP. We all know though that true 1v1 is such a rare things these days.
I hate mining as well and haven't mined a single pebble since I joined Paxton. While we are industrial based, we have all types of players, including mission runners, PvP types, ratters, etc.. Mainly we are all working to expand our base in 0.0.
Paxton Industries is lead by El Torrent and a group of experienced directors. We are building up our presence in our new systems in 0.0 and growing our alliance which is chartered by Paxton. We have a solid POS system in 0.0 to facilitate life and activities there. We provide discounts on T1 ships, free T1 modules, and some select T2 ships for free to PvPers. We have an active capital ship program and are always expanding our industrial base to support our PvP members.
We have many member in both NA and Euro timezones and corp chat is always active. We have TS and an active webiste.
I have linked our recruitment thread for more information. Paxton Recruiment Thread
If you have any questions, please contact me. I look forward to hearing from you.

Hey Vox :)
Welcome back to the game :) Thers been a lot of changes over the last few months btu im sure you slip back into the way of things.
Shadow is a tight group of pvpers. We like to do romaing ops and do them well, using specialst ships like recons and coverts rather than pure blobage and damge dealing. We even mix a few logistics in there for fun :)
We're currently in curse and now the area well, its not that great a distance from old ASCN space but still a hard journy.
Theres more info on our website, link in my sig, about our history and recruitment policy.
after reading that, and your instrested, join the channel shadowcompanychat and say hi or you can convo/mail me direct, which ever is best for you.
Thanks for your time, and again, welcome back

I'm flattered, I didn't think that either this thread would stay alive this long or would attract this much attention (given that my SP total is low compared to a lot of the threads on here). Cov-ops pilots must be in short supply or something.
(Have been checking it, but every time I think it's died it comes back again)
Thank you all for your interest, some very nice-looking corps there, but for the time being I've opted to take a place with Shadow Company. If it doesn't work out I may come back to some of you guys, but barring that I'm spoken for, sorry. Wasn't going to bump the thread by posting but it looks like it needs something to close the file. :)

Rise of the fallen cooperation is recruiting new members and that is you!!! We currently have people heading all departments of our cooperation and are in dire need of new members. If you want to join a cooperation that does not demand how much you play or what you do with you pilot this is the one you are looking for. All members in this cooperation know one another. We have a team speak server, Kill Board, and message boards for EVE that we will supply you with after you apply. So again if you are new and want to join an experienced Corp or an experienced player than needs a change of pace this is the cooperation to be in. If you could send me an EVE mail, Xolax Castle, in game with these requirements to let us know where you are in the game we can fit you in to our cooperation easier.
Thank you and Fly Safe.

Come join the BH-DL
We're progressively enhancing our pvp and are planing on being way more active on the pvp-alliance presence :P Therefore we're glad for any additional pvp-pilot who wants to join our ranks. I'm sure quite some of us would love to gang up with you frequently to roam the galaxy and look for hostiles and pvp-oportunities. We are very highly self-sufficient and make enough isk to spend on pvp-trips :P Our PVP-activities have increased lately, still on a rising path :) Enthusiasm and motivation for pvp is high, and we're not afraid to lose what we field. Also, the alliance has a decent pvp presence. We'll be pvp-ing against pirates in low-sec and against invaders and hostiles in Syndicate. If you know Syndicate, you know it's full of pvp-opportunities usually :) . There'll always be gangs you can join. The US players in our corp are still a bit behind EU members, though we've enhanced that, + one will never be alone, since the alliance is active around the clock :P In addition to that, we also have some recon pilots who enjoy that kind of ships, I'm sure we could form a decent recon wing within corp//alliance for pvp-gangs. The corp environment is very mature, and the people get along very well. There usually is a conversation goin on nonstop, and they do have a good sense of humor :) The teamplay in our corp is also pretty neat. I've been part of another corp and 3 alliances (and been respected and in leading roles before) and haven't seen that kind of teamplay alot. They fight for who gets to help first *cough* We do have 0.0 access, can rat there, have experience with lvl 4 missions, do complexes, all solo and in groups. Even a high-sec pos for personal research is available (time bonus and no to short queues).
For more information, some videos, forums and other stuff, our recruitment thread with the corps and the alliances recruitment info, visit our homepage.
Contact me ingame if you're interested, join our public channel, BH-DL. Should I not be around, just talk to someone else in there, our corp members and friends will gladly answer any questions :)
