rats get final blow in killmail?

Alexis Mahoney	Posted - 2007.08.26 17:12:00 - [1] i have killed a osprey that was engaged with some rats in a 0.4 system. i was the only one attacking him, though (still i dont get this ) he wasnt attacking me, he was still shooting at frig rats when i blew his ship and was on my way to do my piwat ransom thingy i was unfortunately attacked by a af, so my poor rifter blew. so here is the question. why have i not gotten a killmail? can the rats do final blow so i dont get the kill? i have mailed the person for the killmail. but i can understand if hes to mad at me for attacking him that he would not mail me the killmail. is there any way to get the mail without having to ask for it? and am i the only one to not get the killmail? btw i have asked the af pilot if he got final shot due to he warped in right before the opsrey blew. but no he only got me on statistics

I've been robbed of many a killmail due to this. The only way to get the mail is to ask for the victim to send it to you. ------------

He sent it anyway Guess he was just trying to get some money back from his loss ---------------------------------------------

Got my raven blown up and warped my pod out. Deleted the killmail as soon as I my inbox was flashing, bought me another ship and fittings and called it a night. There are people in this game that couldn't care less about these mails. As hard as that might be to believe it is true! :P

Alexis Mahoney	Posted - 2007.08.26 19:50:00 - [12] i must say i have felt alot like everybody else around here it seems. my main is a mission runner/miner and i have been ganked a time or 2. but after i started a piwat char i must admit it is great fun, and if i get ganked with my main again i wont delete the killmail. id rather keep it. and if i shot some that writes in this thread- hey im a piwat. i have no regret. (usual reason is i was dropped alot as a kid or something like that)

Others might send less pleasant conversation. B:) Check their corp/alliance killboards, though don't expect a lossmail to be posted. C:) Manufacture it. You'll get the shipkill recorded, just not the modules/cargo. To the target: A:) When asked to send some hostile a killmail that the NPC's got, change shiptype to the noobie ship of your choice, change the modules to civilian stuff, and the cargo to 'scrap metal'.
