Edited by: Malashek Vatrii on 27/08/2007 14:33:02 Zealot or Sacrilege?
I have 19m SP, and have a 7.0x damage mod on Heavy Pulse Laser IIs with MF Crystals. I was thinking, would a sacrilege with 90% all round resists, drones but less laser damage than a Zealot be better than a Zealot with nberly high damage?
I'm running Level4s atm fine with my current Zealot set up:
Highs: 4x Heavy Pulse II (MF) 1x Tractor Beam
Mids: 1x 10MN Afterburner II 1x X5 Prototype I Engine Enervator 1x Cap Recharger II
Lows: 1x Medium Armour Repairer II 2x Active Hardners (Primary and Secondary damage done by enemy) 3x Energised Membrane (2x Primary, 1x Secondary damage) 1x 800MM Reinforced Rolled Tungsten Plates
Rigs: 2x Capacitor Control Circuits
Would a Sacrilege run the missions faster with the higher resits bonus, and more low slots as Heat Sinks etc and the addition of drones?
- Mal
EDIT: Oh I have T2 Light & Medium Drones and about 1.5m SP in Drones. * * * *

Sacrilege. It has better cap, better resists, better DPS, chooses damagetype, doesn't care about tracking, has drones, etc. etc. Zealot is obsolete.

Edited by: Cryselle on 27/08/2007 15:04:08 Sacrilege, has higher DPS ???
I use 3 faction Heatsinks on my Zealot - and I mostly breeze through LvL4 missions with it (Damage Mod. 10+)
With 2 CCC rigs, I can run my Rep permanently. To be honest, your tank is an overkill

Whats your set up?
Also, the Sac has the same Laser bonuses as the Zealot except for ROF. So with a heatsinks in the lows (since it gets bonuses to resists) it would equal out I'm guessing. * * * *

Sacrilege with 2x BCS outdamages Zealot with 3x Heat Sink. At both close range and long range. Faction HAMs outdamage Amarr Navy MF, Javelins outdamage Scorch. That leaves the Sacrilege with a 3-slot tank, resist bonus, and cap bonus. Zealot has 4-slot tank without any of those, and it has capusing weapons, and it can't choose damage type.

Sacrilege becomes a missile boat, like, tomorrow. I hope that's what you and the OP are asking about.

Kind of, but I heard the missile slots are staying the same for a while so that the laser users have time to change missile skills and ****zle. * * * *

No, it will still have four turrets. It will not have any laser bonuses, it's going to have 5% HAM RoF, 5% HAM damage, 5% armor resist and 5% cap recharge/level bonuses.

Bear in mind, as of Tuesday the Sacrilege becomes more of a missile boat. If you have a bunch of gunnery skills, go with a Zealot.

Edited by: Thimn Witt on 27/08/2007 17:48:27 I've been thinking about this setup for lvl 4 missions.
Sacrilege Highs: 5x 'Arbalest' Heavy Assault Missile Launchcer 1x Salvager
Mids: 1x 10MN Afterburner II 1x X5 Prototype I Engine Enervator 2x Cap Recharger II
Lows: 2x Medium Armour Repairer II 1x Armor Thermic Hardner II 2x Ballistic Control System II
Rigs: 1x Capacitor Control Circuits Auxiliary Nano Pump I
If you turn the Afterburner off you can perma run the 2 armor reps. Which should be repping 368 armor a piece.
So does it seem like a strong tank for the level 4's or no? Director of Slave Operations There is no job my slaves can't do, it is just a question of how many of them it will take and the right motivation required! |

slightly off topic, but would an absolution fare even better than a zealot in lvl 4's?

Yeah it would, and an Abaddon even better than that. No idea why people run them in slowass ships like the Zealot and actually think they do good, but I guess it had to do with Ensteins theory about infinity

I dont know, I quite like the idea of running lvl 4's in a command ship, it's always fun taking down big ships with smaller ships
