since the patch i have a problem... alt+tab dont work anymore if eve is in focus
i can tab from firefox to winamp to whatever and back but as soon is i go to eve alt+tab dont work anymore
i use winxp and play it in window mode
anyone else has this problem?

alt-tab brings up this menu thingie. I have recently had the problem where it will scroll through the options and do something i didnt want it to do, but it still works

alt+tab brings no menu thingy :)

I'm pretty sure they meant Alt+Tab as that is the standard windows command to scroll through windows.

yeah and as soon as i'm in eve it didnt work anymore
i thought she meant this menu in eve what apears if you press crtl + tab where you can hide all menus and tab trough chatwindows

I'm thinking of ALT ENTER which gives you windowed mode, amongst other things. can honestly say i don't know what im talking about for alt tab except i just tried it and it worked. I'm currently using XP.

In all honest, it sounds like it's on your end - not CCP's. EVE cannot change how ALT-TAB is handled by Windows.

In all honest, it sounds like it's on your end - not CCP's. EVE cannot change how ALT-TAB is handled by Windows.
Thats a lie tbh. They managed to make my coffee auto brewer thing not work today. I think they messed something up in the patch.

For the record, I am typing this in a browser that I just alt-tabbed to from Eve while autopiloting with a badger 2 filled with Megacyte heading for Rens.
Okay, that last bit was false, but I did alt-tab just now and it worked as normal.

I use CTRL+TAB. Works like ALT+TAB with EVE.

Sometimes when i use alt+tab, my screen just freez and need to restart my computer. I think is some video card problem , but not sure.

have you ever tried Tab+Alt instead of Alt+Tab ?
weirdly enough theres a slight difference. :)

Considering I just ALT + TAB'd out of EvE to get to view this post :P ... nothings wrong on my end in this regard.

I just tried it. In fullscreen mode the selection whips 'round so fast the eye can't follow.
