The autopatcher goes about 3/4 of the way through patching then it comes up with the following error.
Patching Error in the file tut2.stuff. The specified did not have the correct CRC. This indicates that your installation is corrupt. Please re-install Eve-Online.
I dont want to do a full re-install. Anyone else had this problem.

Yep, just had the same issue. I don't have time to redownload the entire game! This must be addressed or I will drop this friggin game so fast it will make turbulence in CCP's offices.

same here,
and honestly im totally ****ed off,
not because i have to download the full client once again and reinstall the game once again and then reconfigure my whole menu and hud stuff again, BUT because this is the third patch in the row i have to do so!!!!!!!
really, WTF?
i wish for a way to save all my ingame menu settings and then reload them after reinstalling eve or whatever
sry for the *****ing, today just sucked all the way

Same here. CCP please fix this as soon as possible we've got skills to train ...
Tried with the autoinstaller and the manual download of the installer, obviously someone screwed up something.

It's only 14.4 meg... If your ISP only gives you about 100mb per month, then I'd be worried, but otherwise it's nothing.
I'll upload the patch from my cache directory, you can see if that works any better.

I finished the DL, did an over the top install and all went in ok and it didnt wipe my settings :)

Just re-installed the client and waited about 30 minutes for the slow ass patch to download. Guess what? Same problem again.  ... /me blows out brains.

I hav XP professional SP2 and get this after the patch. If i remove the files like someone has suggested, i get the message they are not found

Same problem on my Vista desktop. I was able to install the patch properly on my ancient notebook to which I copied and pasted my EVE install from my desktop a few days ago. This is weird because the game files on both computers should have been identical.
I was able to fix the problem by copying the properly patched tut2.stuff file from my notebook to my desktop PC, which allowed me to reapply the patch without the error.

Same problem here. Did a complete reinstall of client and did both a autopatching and the standlone patcher: evepatch34791-36191. Still same error: Patching error tut2.stuff. The specified file did not have the correct CRC. This indicates that your installation is corrupt. Please re-install EVE-online.
So basicly re-installing doesnt work either :(

Lol....this is really quite funny isn't it? I should have waited until they sorted it all out and the patcher will have worked...now I have to redownload the client every time I want to try and see if the thing works.

Getting the same error. I got that constantly with recent Sisi patches as well. Something is VERY wrong with tut2.stuff and I wish CCP would fkn fix it...
And this should probably be posted in General Discussion since CCP just ignores this forum as far a I can tell...

I reported this 1 week ago on the SISI test forums (same problem with the files curruped etc) but you think CCP would fix that before goin live on TQ NOPE!

Downloading the full Client now. We'll just have to wait and see what happens.
I still haven't tried to patch my Vista machine, so that may yet work, but tbh, I don't want to play eve on a laptop.

Meaning i need to download the game again!
If it was just 1 of my eve installations but on both!?

Do you have "_PyFreeTypeP.dll" in CCP\EVE\bin ?
If it's "_PyFreeType.dll", try renaming it to what I just said ^. I only have _PyFreeTypeP.dll in my directory.

Same here random corrupted file, after reinstallign an older EVE-online client and then patching will give the same random error :(

DL:ing the full client(with latest patch imbued) worked. Seems anything I tried while using a older version and patching it failed miserably. All good now :)

The problem with the missing files is a result of the patcher stopping after encountering the CRC problem in the tut2.stuff file.
Copying a patched tut2.stuff into my EVE directory allowed me to re-apply the patch (apparently, the patched tut2.stuff passes the CRC check) and EVE works now.
I'd be willing to share my tut2.stuff (even though my upload speed is abysmal) if someone could point me to webspace I can upload it to.

30 minutes, and tut2.stuff will be on the intarwebs with tons of bandwidth available for whoever needs it.
Rather risky of me, since my ping is now 500, and I'm moving a Geddon through lowsec without any stabs

Yea, not just the autopatcher, downloading it manually gave me a problem as well.
First patch problem in 2.5 years of play.

Also removed 1 _pyxxx had 2 of that with slightly different names.

^ CCP put up a zip file of all the bin folder a few minutes ago. It's on the in-game news, which is useless since no-one can actually bloody run the client.

I downloaded the zipfile and installed.
Got an error message about trinity.dll that was in the BIN directory and removed it and now it works!
Got online with 3mins left of the skill!

Have same problem with tut2.stuff CRC (2 of my mates who playing EVE with me, too -- we have the same client version). Downloading tut2.stuff right now.
