Why not just tax a player on a given day against his wallet. So instead of taxing 10% on just ratting bounties, tax the player 10% or whatever the corp tax is set at on a given day defined in the corporation. Then all income activities will be taxed, and not just ratting/mission bounties. Then everyone has to pay into the corp, regardless of their profession. The same could be setup for Alliances as well to tax corporations instead of charging and keeping up with alliance dues.

Edited by: Saint Lazarus on 28/08/2007 17:32:51 *transfers all his isk to his alt*
There have 10% of mah wallet muhahaha
on a serious note, wouldnt work, at all really. Who keeps large sums of their isk in their wallet?
Any serious player of any profession invests it, spends it on assets so wallet balance isnt a fair way to judge wealth.

Oh yeah, and if a person decides to be smart save up for a period of over a month for something super-expensive? He's going to be losing more just in tax then he makes.
Sorry but your idea sucks balls. ___________

This would be an easy thing to over come by any player, All you would need is an out of corp alt that you bung all your isk at this alt acts as your bank so when tax day comes around you have what 50 mill in your wallet while the alt is holding a few hundred mill if not a few billion ! Then your not giving the corp a decent wedge of your tax because you hid it.......
AAAaaaaaahhhhhhh thats it thats what you want to do stop the corp / alliance getting your isk from tax....

learn to run your corp better and audit members you suspect of not contributing neither isk or services to the wellbeing of the alliance that dont directly benefit them more they do the alliance

Good idea but not do-able.
The idea - buy now, tax later would not work in the game. You could leave too many players with negative wallet at the tax date and they could not do much except buy GTCs to sell for ISKs.
Tax should be applicable on the spot on income unless you are talking about month tithe. Now that is a different thing. --------- Technica impendi Caldari generis. Pax Caldaria!
