Hi All,
I been flying a Dominix afk setup + Notic, and been wondering. Whats the best PVE ship to unleash loads and loads of dps. I know some of you say CNR, or a Tengus. But is there a pirate ship, or Maradue that will do alot mor dps then them??? The ideal ship for fast mission, that will ignor some wreck, and go through missions. |

A Golem will do more DPS. It does have some range issues though, so in certain missions it isn't as fast due to having to get into range first. A nightmare will also do very well, but not against ships that are high in resist to EM/Thermal. I believe that even a blaster fit Domi will do more dps, but it has the range issue and has to go back to pick up its sentries. |

The top three as I understand it are: Macharial, Tengu, and Nightmare. Rat dependant. But if you aren't close to any of those i've seen Dominix (425mm rail + double sentry rig) fits that sport over 1k dps and of course the ishtar is incredibly nice for places you'd rather not be in a big slow domi. |

what Liz Viscious said, and yea the domi can get some big dps numbers, but I just don't like the damage split between drones and rails, plus the tank seems a bit flimsy to me.
mach, good speed, good agility, great dps, but outside 70km or so starts looking meh tengu is awesome for blitzing (fast, agile, reasonable dps, great range) but for clearing rooms I'd rather have a cnr or golem on most missions. nightmare, great damage, but stuck with em/therm. |

It's never on the list, but, I do pretty well in a Proteus, and by pretty well I mean not as well as I could with a Tengu, but I trained Gallente and well ****. |

Link fit please. Just wondering. I can't imagine how Proteus would do well in pve. |

I'd like to put in a vote for the Nightmare any time you don't need to choose your damage types (Incursions), or for when EM/Therm is optimal. Tengu comes close when kinetic is the right damage type, but it is lackluster outside of that circumstance.
Vargur is probably the most consistently versatile, with a relatively even resist profile, largely selectable damage types, excellent tracking, and good range projection. If I had to use NOTHING else, I'd use the Vargur. |

Fastest mission ship is probably the Nightmare. Great tracking, can fit an AB and awsome range/dps. Just make sure you mission in Amarr space with it :) |

The Machariel and Nightmare are widely regarded as the best L4 runners out there.
Cheaper options include AC Maelstroms and Pulse Abaddons, both of which will only be slightly slower at running L4s and not such juicy gank targets as the pirate BS. |
