Are you a pirate? Are you tired of your current stomping ground and looking for new pastures? Perhaps you are running short on cash and would like to slaughter dozens mindless "Asian Time Zone Players" (who happen to be on at all times, and fly haulers full of fat booty). Maybe, you have enough cash but are looking for a steady flow of alliance flyboys heading out to deep space with their shiny new toys from empire.
If you answered yes to any of these questions, a vacation in Domain is just what you need! To fully utilize the information I am about to tell you it is best to have a Domain 2D Map.
As you look over the map your eyes will naturally gravitate to the large concentration of red systems near the bottom of the map. That is good; it means your killer instincts are sharp! However, so there is no confusion, I am talking about Kheram, Unefsih, Valmu, Rephirib, Mamet, Biphi, Hosoun, Ziriert and Misaba.
What is it that draws my attention to this blob of low-sec haven you ask?
At any point in the day EACH of these systems contains somewhere in the range of 3-20 of our mindless, Newbie-Corp, "Asian Time Zone Friends". But don't just take my word for it! Use one of your empty Alt slots and fly out there and take a peek. (Join their Corporation by following the Amarr - Business - Entrepreneur skill path!)
Once you arrive and have poked your nose into the systems, I promise you will seriously be considering claiming these systems as your own.
But it gets better!
It just so happens that Mamet is a mission/complex running system and Misaba is a fundamental supply point to 0.0. The combination of this knowledge and an able-bodied captain could result in some serious
CÆmon, whatÆs the catch?
There is no catch! If you have done your scouting well, you will see that this is an abandoned pasture that has been left to grow too long! This is an insult to pirates everywhere! The carebear types which have infested these systems have grown soft and defenseless, and built up an economy like they were surrounded by some snuggly empire bastion! Its utterly repulsive, and a constant source of embarrassment. Do pirates everywhere a favor and take your next vacation in Domain.
Thank you for listening to this advertisement.

Dreadfully dull area. We went there for a few weeks. I would not recommend it.

Been there, done that, scooped the loot. Gate camps are great but get repetive and boring. Hunting is meh, bring a nano-setup or better yet gang or don't try it at all.

There is a catch , it's unconnected lowsec (only reachable through 0.0) , if it weren't CVA wouldn't bother to defend it.
Macro haulers run free in Jovainnon and Ingunn , much easier to farm them there.

yep, that's pretty much my discrepancy. CVA have it easy to "anti-pirate" as they can easily lock down a small isolated area such as the Kheram-Misaba pipe.

Hehe, I've been out that way. Nothing of interest other than the boatloads of courier pharmers and CVA blobs.
I tried to snag a few of the haulers, they were all maxi-stabbed and the times I saw others instapopping them, they had total crap for loot.
The last time I was in Ziriert, CVA amassed a 20 man crew to take down me in my Myrm and my corpie in his Drake.
It took an army of them to stop me.
Apparently our reputation preceded us and they brought out the works. They barely survived.

They are all under CVAs protection down there. There are also a few unescorted freighters down that way. Killed two within a week or so, and that was just finding them when traveling to and from the 0.0 choke point.

The macroers are not under any specific CVA protection. Indeed we did shoot at them for a period ourselves.
However because the vast majority are working in low-sec we were destroying our security status to kill them, with many CVA pilots unable to travel to Empire due to negative sec status.
That is why it is now CVA's policy to report the pilots for CCP to take action. This is a game issue and should be sorted out by CCP...
Providence and lower-Domain (which is under CVA protection) is an NRDS region and we do not encourage people to take the law into their own hands because unfortunately those who take the law into their own hands tend to be indiscriminate and have in the past kill many innocent neutrals as well as the 'macro-haulers'.
Therefore anyone found shooting neutrals in our area will be made KOS - not to protect the macroers - but to protect all the neutrals who live and work in CVA patrolled space.
As an aside this is the second or third time recently I have seen a thread created by an obvious alt on the Crime and Punishment section encouraging pirates to come down to CVA space. I can't help feel that one of our numerous enemies is waging a cov ops operation to try and keep us busy shooting pirates in low-sec.
Unfortunately the idea that CVA space is a pirate 'heavan' really should be filed in the false advertising drawer.
Yes the region is busy, thriving and commercially successful - that is precisely because it is NOT a pirate paradise. Yes there are targets around but pirates in the Misaba/Mamet area (with the exception of Snodgey) tend to have a shorter life expectancy than their victims.
Indeed these days CVA rarely even has to get involved as many of the local neutrals have developed their own potent anti-pirate activities. Unless pirates come down in significant force (as cruel Intentions did a few weeks back) they tend to be picked off rapidly.
There is an old adage which I think suits this thread:
IF IT LOOKS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE, IT PROBABLY IS!

So CVA, if you don't like pirates around, then how about mission runners and none macro miners?

Hmm, we were not interfering with anyone but our war targets who decided to hole up in Ziriert for the duration of the war banking on your protecting them.
As we waited at a gate for them, in came the blob after the Dura-Maller bait ship aggroed me. I knew we were surrounded and tried to take down the Maller.
Perhaps we were made KOS beforehand but I can't remember any issues with CVA that would cause us to be KOS.
