I want to make a Small PoS in 0.5 Space but how do I get faction?
Heres the info: System: Shenela Sovereignty: Ammater Mandate
What would I do to raise it how much would I need and does it have to be corps standings or personal standings of the ceo?
Also what skills to help raise it faster/ ----- ----- ----- ----- Barrie, Ontario, Canada! CEO (Chidah Knights) |

Edited by: Craminu on 30/08/2007 08:27:36 Edited by: Craminu on 30/08/2007 08:26:39 your corp need the apropiate faction standing of 5.0 in this case. all players in the corp that have any standing towards (the faction) counts. and corp is the average between all players.
how to get it. 2 options.
1. hire someone with the correct faction standing to get the corp standign up. roughly 100mil+ isk for this.
2. do an ****load of missions. evry 16 you get an storyline. an storyline gives faction. also there is cosmos agent for faction standing
remember only have 1 player in the corp with that faction standing. players withoout any + or - standing towards ammater mandate dosent count.
if this made sense

So it would take me at 0.0 faction months of farming to get to 5.0?
And in 0.4 0 correct?
Also do u need this charter starbase thing in 0.4 space? ----- ----- ----- ----- Barrie, Ontario, Canada! CEO (Chidah Knights) |

0.3 is the highest that doesn't require charters -------------------------------------------- The most common phrase on the Eve-O forum of late is: "Oh the irony". It is usually being used to describe hypocrisy which is in itself, ironic.

It will take a fair bit of doing missions, yes - but not that long in the end if you're serious about it.
Yes, faction standing is required in 0.4.
And yes, charters for 0.4-0.7.

yep, if you want to earn the standing yourself, one quick way to do it speed running lvl1/2 missions, since corp does not matter, find a station with a lot of agents at the right level.
With a nicely pimped up ship, you can blast through a lot of combat missions, or if you dont have the isk skills for it a lot of courrier missions. Main goal is setting yourself up for storylines, 1 every 1-2 hours will get your standing rising pretty quick.

If you're a good missionrunner you might also look at running Amarr COSMOS mission lines. You can only run each one once, but each one (three to five missions usually) ends in a storyline which bumps your Amarr faction (which should also give a nice boost to your Ammatar faction). Do your research before going in, though, COSMOS missions are often challenging and failure-intolerant.
The data center in Ferira would also be good for bumping Ammatar faction if you can collect/buy Sansha tags. Read this thread for details.

Edited by: Barrabis on 30/08/2007 17:34:32 You should also consider getting the social skills raised up. Most notably, Connections, Negotiations, and maybe Diplomacy. Just raising your connections skill gives you a boost to your standings.
That in combination with running missions for agents to get storyline missions after every 16th run mission, should get you to 5.0 standings in well under a month. That is, if you play regularly (1-3)hours a day.

Social will help in that it increases how fast you get standings. However, Corp standing is computed from your standings unmodified by skills, so Connections won't directly aid you here. It will get you better agents, which will make mission-whoring all this more bearable.
Hire some standings if you're at 0.0 standing. -------------------------------------------------- ICE Blueprint Sales FIRST!! -Yipsilanti Pfft. Never such a thing as a "last chance". ;) -Rauth |

yes . no moon mining. no cap ship production arrays.
so 99% of new empire poses is for mobile/adv mobile labs.

no off couse not. dont even think of it.
atm there is getting more and more players doing it. so it depands what you mean by good money..
pos is not cheap. and you need to get skills up to be an good researcher.. for copy its only 1week alt training though. and it require lots of play time into it and placing contracts up in the hubs etc.
if you like this play style. then yes. you can make isk this way. but its not what you call exiting. nearest action you get is to avoid high sec suicide gang fleets that realy raly wanna kill your shuttle with bpc's. haha..

Have you looked at Empire lab queues recently? And it's just going to get worse, as fools and greifers start researching the ore compression BPOs. 10 year lab wait, anyone?
Also, POS structures produce things in 75% of the time NPC factories do, which equates to 133% as much production per day. This is unimportant on most prints, but many T2 producers take advantage of this to produce more, particularly with ships, as they take over a day in an NPC station.
Production queues aren't nearly as bad as there are a lot more slots, but if CCP ever nerfs NPC production slots, you'll see a helluva lot more empire POS go up. I hope I didn't just give the devs a horrible, awful idea. . . -------------------------------------------------- ICE Blueprint Sales FIRST!! -Yipsilanti Pfft.
