I recently was given the Gigabyte i-RAM card for my bday. The i-RAM card acts like a regular 4GB SATA hard drive at 1.5Gb/s data transfer rate (RAMdrive).
I want to know what I should do to make EvE run fastest. Should I do a fresh install of the client on this hard drive (4gb)? Would it be better to try and route EvE's documents and settings folder (CCP) to the drive for faster paging?
Thank you for any help or ideas. If there are any other details that are needed pls let me know.

To be honest, EVE hardly makes any uses of HDD time. To get the best of it though, make a fresh install to the ram-drive. Then just simply delete the old one. Settings are stored on the main drive, and stuff there is ONLY accessed once at a time (IE, on load and such) - so there's no real strain there. ---

How often does it access the CCP folder in docs and settings? Doesn't it store logs (when you leave each system) in there?

Logs aren't exactly taxing of the HDD, and that's the only thing that's accessed regularly. Seriously, there's nothing there that'd be worth moving it for. If you really DO want to do it, just run EVE with /LUA:OFF. ---

I run eve off a ramdrive. It will probably run the same way as on your i-ram drive. It's not blindingly faster but it's noticable with things like grid loads and stuff. There's a guide somewhere by Dark Shikari that explains how to do it.

I believe that was before CCP moved a folder into the "Documents and Settings" folder.

I have one of these at home and use the following configuration.
The RAM Drive is installed as a separate drive. I then install one of my clients to that drive and create a short cut on my desktop using the /end /LUA:OFF. This forces the cache to be in the Cache folder and thus still on the RAM Drive.
It really helps with loading grids and such.
