I'm relatively new to specialized ship setups, so I'd like to have some advice on having a good setup. I'm thinking about 70 - 100km range.
High:
6 x 425mm II's
2 x Cruise launcher IIs (EM and Thermal)
Med:
2 x sensor booster II's
1 x 100mn MWD
Lows:
2 x mag stab II's
2 x tracking enhancer II's
1 x ballistic control Sys. II
1 x L/XL repper
1 x 1600 plates
Drones:
5 x Heavy webbers

Because the only thing that comes close to X-Large armor reppers require 125,000 MW.
While not a megathron-pilot, I'd advice to drop the BCU and both tracking enhancers to fit a proper tank (if at all possible with 425mm's). Would advice to use at least a cap booster instead of one of the sensorboosters, not too sure about the other one either.

Alright, first, why not go for a fully fledged sniper setup, you could use closer range ammo and do some pretty impressive damage from around that same range? What exactly is the intended use of this ship? Second, never leave empty mid slots, put another sensor booster and tracking computer in there.

What you're really asking for is a crappy sniper as there is really no use for a midrange ship except fire-support.

Well, those slots aren't empty, I just don't know what to put in there yet. probably gonna go with sensor boosters, maybe a shield booster. The use would be PvE with a bit of PvP, teamed with a couple stealth bombers.
I say mid-range because at 150km+ smaller-shipped teammates would take a while to get into position, if not _too_ long a while.
