Matalino Gallente Ki Tech Industries	Posted - 2007.08.31 01:53:00 - [1] Ki Tech Industries Open-Ended Bond Offering Ki Tech Industries is looking to raise between 1.0 and 2.5 billion ISK for a mid-term capital infusion. I will be offering an interest rate of 2.5% per week. The bonds will have an open term. I would like to repay them as soon as possible to minimize my interest costs. I expect to begin buy-back of the bonds by December at the latest, and I expect that the actual repayment will take between one and two months. Details of Implementation -KITI Bond 2007-09 was created as a bond/share issuing shell-corp. -KITI Bond 2007-09 has 2500 shares each of which will have a base value of 1,000,000 ISK -The initial offering will run from 2007-09-01 through 2007-09-07, during which time shares maybe purchased at 1,000,000 ISK per unit. -After the initial offering, if there are any remaining shares, they may be purchased for 1,025,000 ISK per unit. -ISK must be sent to the corporation (not to the CEO) when purchasing stocks. -Purchase requests may be made in [url= http://oldforums.eveonline.com/?a=topic&threadID=585610]this thread[/url] to avoid clutter in the Market Discussion forum. -A dividend of 2.5% (25,000 ISK per share or 62,500,000 ISK total ) will be issued each Saturday, starting on 2007-09-14. -Buy-back will be handled through dividends: an additional payout will be made and the base value of the stock units will be decreased accordingly. -Current stock value and interest information will be maintained in the corporationÆs description. -At the end of the buy-back phase the original purchase price will have been paid back through dividends and the shell corporation will be closed. Matalino Gallente Ki Tech Industries	Posted - 2007.08.31 01:54:00 - [2] Business Plan Ki Tech Industries is a corporation made up entirely of my alts. Currently I am building up my income of data cores, both for resale and invention. This requires me to spend most of my in-game time running level 2 and 3 missions instead of engaging in activities that provide a greater short-term profit. At the same time I am developing several characters for both industry and combat, this requires a steady income for skills, implants and GTCÆs. I could delay my long-term payoffs by focusing on activities that provide short-term gains to meet those needs. Alternatively, I have decided to see if I could meet those needs through issuing a bond. I expect that my standings and skill training targets should take no more than two months to gain for all of those characters, at which point I can return to activities that provide more immediate profits. Give an extra month or so to begin to reap the rewards from both the data core supply and from my regular activities and repayment will begin with the fastest rate that I can reasonably sustain. If there is negligible interest in this bond during the initial offering, investors will be refunded in full and no interest payments will be made. I will then raise the ISK myself. If there is a moderate response, the bond will remain open as described above. Latecomers will pay a surcharge equal to the upcoming dividend for that week. This is done so that I am not exploited into paying interest on ISK that I have held for less than one week. Background This character (Matalino) is my original main, Ki Tarra is my secondary main. I have several other accounts, but their characters are younger and have no public image, reputation, or involvement. I have been playing since May 2006. I have made an effort to be helpful on the forums, particularly in the New User Q&A forum. Otherwise I have generally kept to myself in-game. I did enjoy a short time in the TraderÆs Academy, but as that corp was rather loosely bound, I will not ask any of them to vouch for me. Another aim of this bond offering is to test and build my reputation within the community. The repayment of this bond is not dependant on the success or failure of my data core harvesting side business. Independently I am capable of repaying this bond. Both Matalino and Ki Tarra are fully capable of soloing level 4 missions. I have two more characters that will be able to do the same within a month. I have four Hulk capable characters and more still in training. I have made a moderate income (only a few billion) in trading/manufacturing various commodities in the past. I would consider myself to be fully self-sufficient. In my mind this bond also an important way to build trust within the community. In whichever way the ISK is earned, be it through general trading, mining or mission running, I am committed to making this bond successful for the investors. Originally by: CCP Prism X P.S. Repayment of the bond is made on my personal gaurentee. I currently have 8 characters. The characters are largely supported by GTC purchases made from the income of my two primary characters. Currently I see an opportunity in data core harvesting. As such all of those characters are training the required skills. The problem that I have is that to maximize effieciency I need to run alot of level 2 missions to ramp up their standings with the R&D corps. Level 2 missions are not very profitable time wise. If I maximize the time spent running level 2 missions, I will get the payoff in data cores sooner, but I will not have sufficient ISK for GTC's to keep all those accounts active in the short-term. I figure that I would need approx 1 billion to get through September. Additional ISK would be useful in accellerating my progression. If I am to continue focusing on running level 2 missions, then that ISK would need to come from outside investors. If no-one is willing to invest than I will simply have to delay building standings and focus on trading and level 4 missions to raise that money myself. The business plan as such (provided investors are interested) is to use the ISK raised to buy the skills required by the new characters and GTC's maintain my accounts, run the best available missions to raise standings as quickly as possible. Once the standings have been reached to maximize data core harvest, I would return to my normal opperations of trading and mission running to maximize my income and accelertate repayment of the bond beyond the extra income gained from the data core harvest. Estimated income from the data cores would be approx 18M per character per day with current market conditions. Forgive me if I have misinterpreted this. But is this not saying that by the end of the buyback, we will have our original purchase price back? Wouldn't that indicate that we have provided a loan with no interest rate? I guess what I am trying to say, is why would anyone invest if the only returns you can possibly get, is the 100% that you put in. Initially every share will be worth 1,000,000 ISK. Every week there will be a dividend of 25,000 ISK per share. Once repayment begins an additional dividend will be issued. Say on the first week of repayment, I payback 10,000 ISK per share. That week's payout would be 35,000 ISK: 25,000 ISK for the interest plus 10,000 ISK for the repayment. With that additional payment the base value of each share would be 990,000 ISK: this information would be updated on the discription of the shell corp so that anyone trading the bonds would know its value. On next week the interest payment would be 24,750 ISK per share, as that would be 2.5% of the new (990,000 ISK) base value of the share. I would then make an additional dividend payment to continue the repayment. Say for example income is doing even better, I could repay 25,000 ISK per share, bring the base value to 965,000 and interest payment of 24,125 for the upcoming week. All of the interest will have been paid each week. The original capital will be paid out overtime. As the fixed value of each share is decreased by repayment of the original capital, at the end of repayment the shares will have no value and can be discarded. This avoids any hassell with arranging a purchase back of the shares. All of the money is automaticly distributed. Once the full amount has been repaid, the shell corp will have served its purpose, and will be closed after its discription has been given a final update advising everyone that the shares no longer have any value. The current value and upcoming interest payment will always be documented in the shell corp's description. Announcements of interest and repayment dividends will also be made on the forums. Dividends for interest and repayment will always be made seperately to simplify accounting. By December you would have already received 30mil in interest from your investment, and you would still be expecting to receive the original 100mil plus any continuing interest on that remaining balance. Specifically, somehow, when I thought that I had voted in favor of the share creation, the vote did not get registered, so when the vote closed earlier this evening I was unable to sanction the creation of those shares. I have resubmitted an attempt to increase the number of shares. This time I am confident that the votes were registered properly. Unfortunately, there is no way (that I am aware of) to accelerate the process. As such distribution of the shares will need to wait until tomorrow at approx 01:30. Personal EveMails have been sent to all investors informing them of this delay. In the mean time, I am still taking orders for more shares. Send ISK to the shell corp (KITI Bond 2007-09) and your shares will be issued as soon as the share creation is sanctioned. Currently there are 1540 shares remaining. If you have made this mistake, you have just doubled up on the number of shares in the corporation (which is ok as long as you don't finalise the second one). The good news (atleast to me) is that the problem from last night was not an error on my part, rather it was due to a bug in the corp interface. Perhaps if I had been aware of the bug I probably would have been able to find a work around. However as it is, the bug continues to complicate things. I am in the process of filing a petition to ensure that everything is clean and clear to go. I do not want to start sending out shares in the shell corp until I am confident that everything is working as it should. My first priority is to ensure that my investors know what the situation is. Again, each investor will receive a person EveMail providing them with an update on the situtation. After the investors have been informed and the petition filed, I will post further details of exactly what the bug is. On a different topic, my primary character Matalino will be taking a couple of weeks off while he focuses on an extra long skill. In discussing it with Ricdic, it should not affect the offer as long as I do not sanction the outstanding share creation actions. I have no intention of doing so. If I were to create additional shares in this corp, it would only serve to increase my overhead in issuing dividends. It would not dilute the value of the shares as the share value and returns are fixed independently of the number of shares. If you have any concerns with the issue I would be happy to address them. Otherwise the venture has been a fantastic success. As of this post all shares that have been order have been sent. I expect that repayment of KITI Bond 2007-09 will begin in the first week of November. In looking at the future, I have also formed a detailed business plan for a possible Datacore harvesting IPO. This would be a public venture, with the option of disclosing the full business plan and auditing access to a trusted board of directors. The operation would have a fixed return of 3% bi-weekly, or approx 6% per month, and would run for 6 to 12 months depending on profits. The plan has already been worked out in detail and is resilient to changes in both the value of Datacores and the cost of GTC's. If this venture does go forward, it would be operated entirely independent of the previous bond or any of my other endeavors. A vote as been opened to pole the opinions of my previous investors to get a feel for their interest level. I will also be watching for feedback here. If there is interest in this venture, I would be prepared to open it for an Oct 13 start date. If there is a lack of interest, then I will postpone it indefinitely or pursue it privately. I love your sense of responsibility in that regard as well as your ongoing communication, as it has become a rarity in my portfolio. Because you've proven solid thus far, I'll probably make another smallish investment of 100-200m if you decide to go forward with your other venture. I typically reserve larger investments for offerings with a little higher rate of return, but I can always spare a bit for someone I think is really on the level. Since there was nothing else to announce at that time other than to say that the next interest payment would be made on Nov 3, I did not post to state the obvious. This week's interest payment has been made. The next payment will be made on Nov 10. I had previously indicated that I would begin repayment this week. Looking at the market, I beleive that it would be prudent for me to delay liquidation of my assets until after the release of Kali 3. Interest payments will continue as normal until repayment is complete. This week with the announcement of the release of Trinity, along with the start of December, I have begun repayment of this bond. Shareholders will notice that in addition to the interest payment of 25,000 ISK per share, there was an additional dividend of 250,000 ISK per share. This additional payment goes against the initial capital. This decreases the share value from 1,000,000 ISK per share to 750,000 ISK per share. Next week's interest payment will be 18,750 ISK per share. (2.5% of 750,000 ISK per share) I also plan to make a further repayment next week, but at this point I am not yet sure how much that will be. I do not beleive that there is much if any trading of these shares, but if you are trading them, be sure to use the current share value. By the time I remembered, I figured that I might as well wait until this week to straiten it out. As such there were two interest payments. Last weeks interest payment was made for 9,840 per share. (9,600 + 2.5% compounded interest) This weeks interest payment was made for 9,600 per share. There was also a repayment of 64,000 per share. This brings share value to 320,000 per share. I am currently in the process of cleaning out my hangers and liquidating those unused assests. I am hopefull that they will allow me to close of this bond within the next few weeks.

KITI Bond is nearing the end of its opperation. Also looking at the progression of my liquidation efforts I can confirm that the repayment on the 17th will be atleast 50% of share value.
