could the amarr prophecy handle gurista 0.0 spawns probably 2 or 3 bs's and what ames with them setup is 7 pulse lasers 1 nos. Ab and web and cap recharger. 1 med rep and 3 hardner's and cpr could put a armour rig on to help that do you think

The search function is not that great and the OP has a reasonably specific problem so I see no reason not to try and be helpful.
Without knowing your skills it is hard to say. The prophecy might be ok against 2 of the smaller Gurista BS rats, a 3rd would probably be trouble, especially with support ships around. Six months ago, when a prohecy was the best thing I could fly, I could handle triple sansha BS spawns up to around 750-900k in one but they are better targets for a prophecy than Guristas. That was with a partial t2 tank and best named pulses.

You could probably handle two 950k's but two 1.2 or 1.4m + support could give you trouble. You'd be better off ratting in your BC up until you can afford to buy, insure, and outfit an apoc or geddon.
That's what I did when I had to rat sansha in my drake, just ratted about 170 mill's worth and bought, insured, and outfit a raven; made that 170 back in just a few days.

i fine that a vexor can stand up to 2 1.25 mil gurista rats in 0.0. but if your low skill point character, i would suggest a mymirodom.
And a prophecy is not good cuz it just don't deal the right type of damage to gurista BS.

BEST MYRM SPELLING EVAR.
IMO a Myrm requires much more micromanagement than a Raven but can be more efficient.

You gotta get in blaster range, but then you're doing more damage than a cruise Raven.

i rat with myrm vrs bloods (nossing ***s)
High - 5x heavy ion IIs, salvager
Medium - 10mn mwd , web , 3x cap recharger II
Low - medium armor rep II , Active em II , active thermic II , Energised adaptive nano membrane II , 2x capacitor power relays II or summin . (24% regen - 11% shield boost amount)
When i put rigs on 3 CCCs
5x ogre ~
Handles every spawn .. with 3 CCCs handles with ease.

You will be able to tank them, but *if* you can break their tank it will take bloody ages to kill them. Gurista have very high EM resistances.
A proph is singulary the worst BC to kill them.

My philosophy for 0.0 ratting was to take a ship that can fit the weapon type that the rats you're fighting drop so you can stay out longer (using their own ammo against them).
I used a Myrmidon vs. Angels and fit medium projectile turrets in addition to NOS & Drones.
A little added damage with a literally endless supply of ammo. I would stay out ratting for days at a time that way. Only looting the choicest modules and salvaging everything.
For guristas I would take a drake, hands down. That ship rocks at level 4 missions so 0.0 rats are a joke for trying to break its tank and it has the dps to take down 1.3M spawns, though it may not be fast at it.
Not to mention guristas drop missiles which you can then load up and fire back at them.

To tell u the truth Im having trouble with guristas flying a well skilled absolution with t2 pulses and rather good tank ( ratting setup 4tw ). And I still get pwned by 3 Guristas Massacrers + support. Usurpers are hard to do too in groups of 3 ... so either fly another race or get an amarr Bs, geddon is ok.

Just use a passive tanked drake... It's cheap, requires little micromanagement and you don't even need to use drones (so can warp off right away if hostiles enter the system).
EVE Online: a cold, cruel world where (RL-)rich people replace their losses with GTCs sold to poor students who need to farm ISK to afford their play time ...

Is the drake effective to rat with even with relatively low SP in shields and missiles? I fly Gallente, and so don't have many SP in either (slowly getting a few more as I cross train Minmatar). The extra micromanagement involved with drones from a Myrm puts me off using that as a ratting ship.

myrm rocks for ratting, im exclusively minmitar but i allowed myself to get the myrm for 0.0 ratting. i dunno about micromanaging, u lost me totally. damn easy to sit there while your drones chase everything.
but never fear cyclone and hurri work almost as good, maybe better depending on skills/rats.
i use all 3 now, get bored with 1, use another.
