after i use alt to change portrait on my main, can i delet the alt? or should I w8 least 24 hours?

I'm not sure but you may have to wait abit, you really should ask a GM about it..

Use the "Clear cache" button (in esc menu) after 24 hours after changing the portrait... it should work then. But could take 1 week in game

It is usually soon. More than a few days, less than a month and at worst, about six to twelve months. The latter cases happen when you are extremely unlucky.

iv cleared the cache(portrait cache) and can already see new picture on my main ingame:)
just wanna know if i can now delet this alt i made new picture with, need the slot:)

I swapped portraits, it worked in game after a day and cache clearing (or portrait folder deletion) but I waited a week, deleted the other character so now my forum pic is stuck on my old portrait and will likely never swap with the deleted one, I'm guessing.
