I'd prefer to have the default be what it was originally, and then a customizable layout in the settings window.
i.e.
%s - system name
%p - planet name
%m - moon name
%pn - planet number
%mn - moon number
%f - full station name
%a - abbriviated station name
The default was something like %p %pn - %m %mn - %f
But you could change it to however you prefer, like remove the planet name and moon designations and have something along the lines of IV.V - Caldari Navy Assembly Plant (%pn.%mn - %f)
Or if you want to get really compact, IV.V.CNAP (%pn.%mn.%a)
I'd like full customization, so whatever somebody prefers they can have.

No CCP, this is not the way it was !!!
First system name, then number, followed by moon number , then station name...
Why did you put it back with the station name first ???? All we asked was if you wanted to put it back like the way it was. Not change it to another new format again.

It would be nice if it was customisable, infact there's lots of things I think could do with being customisable, but anyway.
For me it would make sense if the station names in the neocom were in the same format as those listed in the misson briefings.
My personal choice: Planet:Moon:Station Name
Sorted using all three columns (the old old system didn't do that)
I keep faith, it's only what I believe in that changes.

yeah I think we need it to be customised... hvae an option so you can set he order of fields & an option to reset to default.
Though with all the changes that have happened I do know what the default setting would be...

Customization would be great, but i the meantime how about a fix to change the names back to the previous short-cut way, or back to the original way. The current names are almost useless when trying to match up the station names.

I'd throw my support in with the menu listing the same way as the agent missions do by default
namely :
Planet:Moon:Station Name
Customizable would be good too, but methinks less likely to happen

It wouldn't take much effort. As the system is probably set up to work dynamically anyway.
I could make a web-based version of my customization proposal in about 30min.

Yes make it customisable, and as someone said: Have the same namesystem as it is stated in the breifings for agentmissions as default.
