So, recently I blew up a guy, who smack talked and threathend with this and that, and said he was going to use his scorpion insurance payout to put a big bounty on my head so I'll get hell, I didn't say anything and assumed it all was a empty threat.
Said and done, I later that day recived an added 70m to my bounty that was previously the staggering 9.xxxx m! Oh well, "how fun" tough I, but now, a few days later it have gotten really annoying.
I nowdays get a lot of random convo's and EVEmails with threats etc. and some quite intresting mails from "bounty hunters" that I should look after myself, while of course my standard stance on this is "Bring it!"
Is this the reason a lot of those with high bounty on the top50 most wanted got auto reject on or? 
Whatever, I get the picture of it being common, anyone else with a bit higher bounty can give some input if this have happend/happends to them aswell?
EDIT: "High" is a relative term, before anyone adds a comment about the measly sum put on my head.

I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one. I get a good 10-20 of those convos every day. The majority of them consist of "less than a day" nubcorp members who miss the SHOW INFO button and press START CONVO (usually multiple times) and then don't even realize the convo is open. I also get the occasional bounty hunter, person who asks why I have a bounty, person who wants to be my friend, or person who wants to kill me. I just put up with it to be honest, you'll get used to it after awhile.

Fair enough, and yes, a majority of these are one day old alts for me too, god damn it, I had a double convo poping up when I was killing a Hawk a day ago and it's gotten really annoying.

Some of them are really quite funny actually. I've had a few one day old players challenge me to 1v1s. One wanted to fight my Vindicator in his impairor; he even came 15 jumps to do it. Needless to say, that got quite a laugh on vent. Unfortunately, before he arrived, my vindi got owned by an Einherjar Rising ganksquad on the gate.

Once, when I had a high bounty on me I got lots of random convos from nubs too, really annoying. But one player I got into a conversation thought it was.. kinda hot.  It more or less ended there. Heh..

Everyone wants to threaten you for your clone's life when you have a high bounty. You could always just remove it and put back a smaller amount BUT, where is the comedy? Keep all the mails and one day when your new clone arrives you can look back and remember what you other clone had been up to. :P

Heh, its only a tiny sum of 20mil but other than an odd comment in local i rarely get anything.
however people do seem to shoot me in high sec alot more 
concordokken ftw!

meh, just move yourself into a jump clone with no implants, and have a mate pod you...
Easy cash and low expenditure.
The bounty gets removed and you are a free man.
edit - otherwise just enjoy the popularity / infamy it brings.

most convos are 1 day olds who make mistake and click convo instead of show info yeap and others are of peeps that normaly tell me if i want to split my bounty with them if they kill me mostly rubbish some say nice bounty and others ask me were i am at its fun but u get used 2 it m8 ;)

a buddy of mine killed a badger a few weeks ago, nothing special inside, the dude said he would pay for it and soon after a 600million bounty arrived on my buddies head, he promptly podded himself with his alt for the isk, the dude thought he had been podded so put another 100M on just to make sure he got some more grief and so he podded himself again.
i suggest you pod yourself too :P

Buddy of mine recently had 450mil added to his bounty, other than us threatening to pod him of course he was getting a ton of convos. For a while we thought it was just because he had CSPA charges disabled and noobs playing with the bounty list just have fat fingers, but even turning CSPA up to the maximum allowed he was still getting spammed.

I haven't got that problem, the only thing that happened so far though was a guy telling me that it was only because I was in highsec (I try to keep sec around -1.9ish) that he didn't kill me on the spot, in his Rifter, and me in a Vagabond. He told me he could easily avoid my slow tracking guns, so I dropped a can and we had the fight, released drones and waited. I think he was just testing his setp though.

There is a box u can click in the options screen which says ' auto reject invitations '. I can guarantee u wont be bothered with convo spams again

I've had bounties on my head and so on.....It's quite easy to keep your bounty on your head if all you do is roam low sec.
I often go in 0.0 low sec roaming gangs, so dictor's are bounty poppers I've lost a few bounties in this way.
Not only that, when your in a {bwf} large bubble floating in a pod, other ships tend to get ignored if you have a bounty.{happened last night}

Change your convo charge to 1mill isk (the max)
U will find that the number of convos drops pretty quikcly thereafter.

I dunno about convos, but even with my small bounty, sitting on the new caldari gate in Jita while setting up sell orders I had over 15 people come up, shoot me and get concordokken'd in the space of an hour, they were all trying to claim my bounty. The best was one was in an osprey with mining fit, and he agressed me with his single standard missile launcher  .
Not the best set up for suicide ganking, nor bounty hunting

It's all the Boba Fett try hards. I think it's funny though.
And yeah. Even when my bounty was just 10m, I was getting spam in local chat... more than that and ppl started putting me on their address list and spamming me with convos. Lost it to a gate camp eventually though.

I had a 76.8M isk bounty for a while... saw myself on a billboard at a gatecamp we were doing. Good laughs, death threats almost every day 
Then I had to put on the big boy pants and go into 0.0 where I hit a 6 man camp while out alone... lots of ECM and I didn't stand a chance... then I dropped the mouse while frantically trying to warp the pod out and lost my bounty

Me and my friend and some others kill a hauler on a lowsec gate. It was 5x stabbed with t1 med extenders... and it had nothing in it. He put a 100m bounty of my friends head

Geting all kind of mails about the bounty is very comon.
I remebr my first (in a row of many) mails about my bounty back in 2003, i got 5M on my head (because i almost killed one in high sec space) and i had the 5th highest bounty in the most wanted list.
People convoed me and mailed me about the bonty, thinking that i was a bad a**, or they asked what i did to get that bounty.
To day as everyone knows 5M is nothing. And one other very bad thing is that it feels that most of the bontys on the most wanted list is isk that people put on them selfs.
I have thougth alot how CCP could "fix" that problem, but its probobly not possible.
Because this days having a bounty on the head is no status enymore.

Nowadays you can see newbies in megathrons fitted with small guns, faction ships, hell even the other in Suroken it were 4 isk macros with navy ravens... whats the world coming to.

I heard from a usually reliable source that zonda***e thinks you are a 2 bit w*nker and is considering taking out a contract on you.
dunno whether there is any truth in this ofc
I also heard that zonda***e wonders whether there have been any recent contractual agreements between yourself and Lactrocinium Corp

I get two different reactions from people. Some people will go with the "Oh! Bounty! I wantz ur podz!!" or "You must suck at being a pirate to only have a 1mil bounty!".
My highest was 13mil and it was so annoying to get comments every single day. It got really bad when I was down to -1.9 status. "OMG! What a lame wanna-be pirate! Hanging in high sec! Couldn't take low sec anymore! ROFL! Gimme yer pod!!"
My only enjoyment factor comes from the random newb attacks in high sec. I had one yestderday when I was fighting a Mega and Myrm in my Domi. A few people decided to shoot me and were intimately introduced to Concord.
One of them didn't know about the global countdown and undocked again in another cruiser and got Concorded a 2nd time.

My main account is down atm so I have to post with an alt.
I once had the highest bounty in eve for a month. If autoreject wasn't on eve was basically unplayable. I got a good 5 convos and minute and 30-40 evemails a day. So ya higher the bounty the more you get swamped. Most of it is noobs just looking through bounty list. They don't understand that you really don't care that they want your bounty....

It's been some time since i've had a decent bounty.
Most of the players I attack are a little older and realize that pirates WANT a bounty
however, last time I had a 45m isk bounty I'd not get convos or evemails, but I would have people in local saying things like "Can I have your bounty?"
The best however is when I'd be sitting on a gate in high sec space and some noob would shoot at my battleship thinking he's going to get my bounty (confusing player pirates with NPC rats I assume) Invariably the sentry guns would open up and sometimes concord would show (usually they were in something small enough to die to the sentries before concord could arrive) then of course hilarity would ensure as I'm accused of cheating or they try to verify that we are in a "pvp zone"
