I'm an explorer. I like to travel and look at things. I sell bookmarks that I find for cash. Occasionally I run agent missions. I live cheap and have fun. I don't need a corp, so I'm not in one. I've been out in the FIX and I decided to take a look at one of the new stations CONCORD found for us. I come out of warp and am instantly shot and killed by the morons who are sitting are throwing torpedos at the station.

sometimes you can be a little trigger happy when your region is opened up to Stain, Fountain and Curse all in 1 day. cut them some slack.

sorry to hear that Silmarien, if you contact the CFS i think that you can get compenstaion for your loss, CFS space is currenlty considered to be a war zone, so be carefull out there.
the navy has been having Huge problems whit alt spys, and what probably happend was that you got misstaken to be one.
CFS fight hard to to create a safe territory that can be open for all but pirates. however at the moment the situation is a bit tense in the FIX whit moo and some "un-friendly" neighbours moving in.

OMG shut the hell up. You lost a 50k frigate waaaaaahhhhhhhhh  . You were in 0.0 space which is dangerous to begin with and you are shocked you got blown up? The CFS got attacked from multiple fronts today and you really can't blame them for being highly defensive. Not to mention everyone that has half a brain knew that "CFS Space" was going to be a war zone when these new stations came out. If you weren't destroyed by them you would have died to FA or m0o. Hint: Stay out of 0.0 space when there is a conflict going on and look on the map for ship kills. That big red dot on the map is bad m'kay. Get a clue...

I don't mind the loss of the ship, it didn't cost enough to care about. What I mind is the way in which it was lost. No warning. No, "What are you doing out here?" No, "Who are you?" Nothing. Just shoot me in a blatant violation of everything the CFS is supposed to stand for, and then ridicule me when I have a problem with that. Not to mention the long trek back to station through pirate controlled territory in a pod. That kinda bothers me a bit too. Yeah, 0.0 space is supposed to be dangerous, but members of the CFS supposedly hold to a higher standard. Believe that at your own peril.
And Avariel, thanks, but the CFS is not fighting to provide a safe place for everyone but pirates, they're shooting at anything that moves without warning. A CFS member killed me. Why are they doing this? Because they're completely incapable of protecting a single system, much less the entire FIX region.

Now you know that ANYONE can take stations, right? Even corpless explorers in Bantams? :)
0.0 space is dangerous.. if you let your relatively agile frigate get shot out from under you at a gate, then you have a whole lotta learning to do. :)
