Are battleships viable for solo pvp? My tactic was to warp in to an enemy target, strike, kill, and then warp out.
My plan was to use a dominix but now with the NOS nerf i'm not quite sure what to do.

if u can get a cover Op on em u might have a chance. But generaly BS= not to good tacklr unless its another bs ure gonna get. As most ppl(unless u have 1 or mroe sensorbooster) with smaller shipsize than u can mostly warp off before u get a lock on em.
Also a nos domi isnt the best option evebn before the nos nerf. it simply takes too long. If I had too I prob go for neutron mega. But a astarte/deimos/Eos is prob bether,if ure gallente spec [img] Vids produced by me

You have to be very good with the scanner to make it viable to be honest, and even then the battleships are too slow into warp. Myrmidon is more feasable and is capable of taking down bigger targets.

With a nanomachariel perhaps. ;-) Ships that use drones much aren't really recommended, since it will delay your warp out with all those drone bugs. A blasterthron (gank fitting) might work well too.
isn't it funny how some people advocate both GTC<=>ISK trades and EVE being superior due to its cruelty and costly losses, when they use the former to circumvent the latter?

neutron hype aswell, since you gain extra damage and a more flexible fitting with the 5th mid.
...but it's all on the pilot's preference. ---

Sensor boosters make it easier to tackle soft targets (ratters) but it's rather hard to catch anything actively avoiding fights with a battleship , unless at a gate of course. You will need a BS to engage something that fights back while under sentry fire.
<3 megathron. Victims melt in no time , so unless their corpmates were ambushing you , backup is unlikely to arrive fast enough.
