It's not EVE that's down, it's your ISP (and one of CCP's ISPs) that's not doing the routing right (or rather, not rerouting fast enough, or rerouting you to a secondary line that's down, or any number of similar reasons).
Not much either you nor CCP can do about it... except complain to your ISPs for that.
You know, write angry letters and stuff.
Yeah, everybody else but the unlucky few can access EVE just fine right now.
And also, they never get disconnected from play like you do.

since the rev 2.2 patch My client just dissappears when I am in warp.... it just...vanishes. sometimes it happens every time I warp, sometimes I doesnt happen for hours.... Ive never had this problem before.
Seems like a bug to me...

If you want to help out "fix" it faster, if you're one of those that can't connect or get disconnected often... best you can do is to
list your location (country mandatory, city optional) and the name of the ISP you are using.
Oh, and one more thing. This is important, trust me.
Mention if you're running EVE from Vista or not.
There have been... problems (to say the least) with networking under Vista.

disable your sound and see if that helps

Server connectivity problems today after DT are not your-local-ISP related.
Traceroute succeeds, as well pinging to server. So routing is just fine.
And there are just TOO MANY people this particular moment not being able to connect to have it be a 'your local ISP'-issue. See the other thread about todays connectivity problem.
Normally i'd agree on the general idea you're trying to point out but just not this time.

Seems like a bug to me...
Clear your cache. go to %USERPROFILE%, Local Settings (hidden folder) and delete the CCP folder. You will lose all your settings, buddie-folders etc but might solve the crash.

it WILL most likely resolve all issues. However, I advised someone to do just that a few days ago and he said he was not very reluctant to do so because of his settings etc...
your call...
I however clear my cache every now and then and I never have issues. Moreover... If I hear what kind of monster machines whining people play on I wonder what I'm doing "wrong". Everything just runs fine with 2 clients on a 2Ghz|512mb laptop. (and no I don't mine in particular )

Well, the current problem might have been caused by that "proxy server #7 acting up", yet the other one (disconnects), not likely, and that one IS certainly ISP-related.
