Hello, i would just like to inform CCP staff that the GM's are reporting to your paying customers that on the night that people were unable to login to the BKG system for over 3 hours that no server problems were reported lol.
I find it hillarious to be honest.

I find it hilarious that all of the GM's are horrible soothsayers and when they bring upon the ancient logs for wisdom they always show them nothing

Is that when a DEV dropped the node because it was having problems. I guess they don't talk to each other very often.

Yes, we have been given this one also, so far we have had from the GM's
- Its your ISP's Fault
- Our Logs Show nothing
- Your Cache is corrupt
- You had client side lag
- Your computer isn't fast enough
CCP your GM's are making you look like a complete amateur company.
I put forward that CCP need to be in contact with their GM's more.

Hey, why post about something you know nothing about?
The GMs that night knew there was problems on the node and they reset it (or moved or whatever) That's obviously GM admission that something is wrong with the server and they are aware of it.

Actually the GMs dont seem to have many of the much needed tools to handle their job.
When Eve started out this was tolerable. Now it is a fully fledged mature game with a lot of bugs roaming around still.
Time to give the GMs those tools or stop pretending they can do what they are meant to do.

I agree I've petitioned a few times for losses, especially the time I pressed the dock button and left my computer then came back to a free clone jump... of course "The logs didn't show anything", I think they examine the logs out of their arse because thats what they talk from 9 times out of 10 |

I found it hilarious when I petitioned a complaint about a GM's poor knowledge of basic game mechanics that Senior GM Guard replied with "You can't expect us to know everything" "do you know someone who does?"
Oh god I was in stitches.
Frankly, it's a joke that the DEVS don't communicate at all with the GM's, take the RP events with the bugged freighters, members of our corp got concordokkened when they shouldn't have, we were told by AURORA guys that we'd be reimbursed in full and it took the GM's FIVE WEEKS to actually go and ask AURORA what happened. The five weeks consisted of 'Sorry your loss was legitimate', I had a copy and paste for them to, something along the lines of 'Get your finger out of your ass, go to your senior GM and tell them to actually communicate with AURORA instead of playing with your balls tossing a coin to see if I get reimbursed or not.'

A solution might be for the GM's to pay attention to the game they are meant to help run. Being aware of events such as a DEV dropping a node due to overloading issues might be a good place to start. I don't know, call me crazy, but how about they actually read the petitions instead of simply reducing their queues by copying and pasting a patronising statement that frankly no one believes.
You may be unaware of the huge problems with server stability atm and alliance warfare...so too are the GM's handling petitons it would seem

When it comes to Eve yes we bloody well can, especially about the basic mechanics. If they don't know how the game works then they really shouldn't be GMs or at least not handling petitions that involve mechanics they don't have a proper working knowledge of.

while i did not lose any ships i did see huge amounts of lag (client sitting at black screen for 10min+) on a side note i as well would like to complain about the level of service from the GM's i lost fighters (they just went missing)and opened a petition, after opening it up i jumped in a hauler to move minerals, got a response back that i did not have a carrier ..... (this was on another char and is not a word for word quote of the GM response)
as for the logs showing nothing 1. Its your ISP's Fault - i have a 20mbit fiber connection ... it was fine, don't give me the pingplotter bs.
2. Our Logs Show nothing - logs posted here show otherwise
3. Your Cache is corrupt - no as the client did log in after many attempts
4. You had client side lag - hamster was still on its wheel
5. Your computer isn't fast enough - quad core xeon x3220 better be enough
