I'm trying to start a second account which I will pay for with ISK/GTCs. What's the best way to start this? Is there an option to add on a second thats linked to my first? I tried making a new one, but it said my email was invalid. I guess no 2 accounts can have the same email?
Whats the best way to add an account?
Any help would be great.

Create a temporary hotmail address, then send a buddy trial key to that address. The problem that you are most likely having is trying to send a buddy trial to the same address that you are already using. Once you have created the trial account you can change the email address on that account to your regular address.
You can then convert the trial account to a paid account by sending the ISK from yor paid account to the trial account and trading it for a GTC on your trial account. Just remember that you will not be able to send any ISK back until the trial account has been converted to a paid account.

Heh- Do you have uppercase letters in your e-mail? I always put mine using uppercase letters for the first part of the word... but when I got that "invalid" email, I just used all lowercase letters and it worked fine. Try that, or do the opposite and use uppercase where you used lowercase...

Yeah I think you need 1 e-mail per 1 account. Open up a 2-week trial and make a skill plan using EVEMon. Plan to have some kind of long skill training by the end of 2 weeks. For combat characters say cruiser V is a very long skill (about 30 days long). You skill will keep training even if account expires. When it is done, purchase a GTC on the forums. Transfer some ISK to your alt (you can transfer ISK to trial accounts) and then accept the GTC by going to My Account, no need to be able to log on. This way you get skill points trained while not paying ISK or money for them.

You do not need addition email addresses for additional accounts. I have 3 running active accounts and occasionally make trial accounts to fool around with all using my one email address.
The only thig I can think of that would cause an invaild email message is if you had a typo in there somewhere (or as previously mentioned you used uppercase).
Try creating a trial account from the following link, using your email address in all lowercase.
