I hate family nights when you miss out on fun like this. Props to both sides though for bringing the fight and mostly respect for eachother. This is the way eve should be played (maybe a little less lag but afaik it was doable).

I had to do 10+ jumps just to switch to a crow which got 2-volley-sniped in front of the FAT station :( I then switched to a Drake which lasted throughout the entire fight (more than 2 hours from the point I reshipped) Had to relog 3 times just to load the grid properly though :( Was absolutely crazy during the whole time.. intel channel was constantly spammed for more x's and they were flowing as fast as ships went down on both sides. A bit of confusion on voice comms to get your heart beating even faster and a good deal of jokes about drunken killmails and hang-overed pods in the end :) Overall - it was a pure slaughter but worth a billion of tons of fun :) - Interstellar Alcohol Conglomerate - [UMCON]Anton Marx

Yes but speaking for myself, it was playable. I was at least allowed to see all targets, just took a while to address commands. Thanks, this is why I play this game, for fights like that.

I almost missed it - was leaving to take a break after cyno jam went down when we heard about the caps undocking and quickly got back in. Good thing otherwise I would never forgive myself for missing such an incredible fight. I hadn't seen anything like it. After only 30 minutes I thought to myself that if I lose my T2 mega I've already gotten my money's worth in that fight! It went on ages from there and I did eventually lose the mega, got a celestis and got back in for some more good action. Incredible job everyone lots of heroics on both sides and I have to give it to CVA and -A- for coming all that way with no guarantee the fight would even still be going when they got there. Yes I could complain about the lag considering especially I lost my mega without loading the last time I warped back to battle but it was tolerable for most of the time although all the wrecks and ships really hammered my client ( switching to star map significantly helps with this I wish I'd tried it sooner).
