Edited by: SonShadowCat on 04/09/2007 07:17:33 I'm not sure what rigs to fit on my vaga beside polycarb( which I won't use due to their cost). I'm using a standard vaga fit( d180mm, mwd, disrupt, lse, 2 gyro, 2 OD, 1 nano)
I'm using T2 dual 180mm with barrage so I thought about a tracking rig and a kin shield rig to help with tracking and fill that little hole in my shield. I also thought about 2 falloff rigs to boost my falloff to 26km to help stay out of enemy ranges.
What do you guys think? And please don't say 2 polycarb since I should be fitting out a HAC to the max, I don't want to spend another 100m on this ship.

falloff rig can help but i would also fit a aux thruster rig and seriously consider saving for polycarbs :)

Do yourself a favor, sell up and buy 2 'canes.
'bond should always be speed tanked, if you want a decent speed autocannon ship that fits (somewhat) of a tank get a 'cane

So aside from the polycarb, a falloff and aux rig?

Well, you should always have a falloff rig, the Vaga simply gains too much extra firepower when it does to not use one. As for that second rig. It depends on if you feel your Vaga is agile enough. You might actually want to fit an agility rig (called low friction nozzles or something like that). If it is agile enough (according to your taste), go with an aux. There is no question though that a polycarb is preferable, since that increases both speed and agility, but those are bloody expensive (47 mil or something like that per rig). Unless you freaking faction fit your vaga it might not be justified. The vaga is quite effective even if it's not rigged, or with just the falloff rig. ______________________________________________ -You can never earn my respect, only lose it. It's given freely, and only grudgingly retracted when necessary. |

Edited by: Reem Fairchild on 04/09/2007 15:05:03 Auxiliary thrusters are a cheap alternative to Polycarbons.
Edit: I should add that I manufacture these.

Anti-kinetic shield rig and aux thrusters - nice and cheap.
