I run two clients with eve launcher 1.0.4, both clients run in window mode. As soon as i enter space one of the clients gets very strong artifacts, the space is completly white and the framrate drops to about 1fps.
Hardware is Ati Radeon X1650pro, 3800+ AMD athlon dual core, 1 gig of ram. This problem only surfaced recently, here is a screenshot of it:
Problem
This also heavily affects the other client which doesnt show the graphics bug but is affected by the framedrop likewise. The problem doesnt always happen, but undocking both chars from same station is a sure fire way to make it happen, but it also happens in normal gameplay. Drivers and stuff is all latest stuff.
In the cases where it doesnt happen both clients run fine at 30-40 fps, its like turning on a switch, it happens and bam unplayable . Closing one client(even the one that doesnt have the issue) fixes it, also putting the offending client in fullscreen fixes it. Graphics settings dont seem able to affect it.

try not using the eve launcher ?
also run 2 clients on a much poorer pc, each client is on a separate hard drive, the eve directory that is shared is on the boot drive - got 4 drives....
used to get lots of artifacts on radeon 9800 pro, now using nividia 7600 GT and no artifacts that are visible :)

Yeah. I tried the Evelauncher now, instead of starting the clients directly. The problem still exists BUT it doest not happen that often (just once).
Next thing is change the drivers.

Downgrading my ati drivers to 6-12 fixed the problem for me.

Holy ****. Don't suggest that, ninny. Those drivers don't even support the X1*5* cards. ---

additional observations: the problem is not related to EVE Launcher and docking (plus in like 5% of the cases warping or jumping) with the working client (at least still colored but also slowed down to 1 fps) fixes the problem. But it may happen again at any given time.

And the reason you are using evelauncher is???
I run two clients with no problem and with just their shortcuts... Try that first.
