I am a new Eve player (still on trial acc but I rly do want to become a fully-fledged member) ... any way, on to the question: Does Eve have a RP (role playing) community ? Even if it is not very vast, does it exist outside the forum and what could you tell me about it (in game) cuz I kinda like to RP from now and then
And one more thing: why can't I see my avatar (is it cuz of the trial acc thing or what ?)

The avatar will show up on the forums eventually. New avatars are updated in batches every now and again, so don't worry about it.
And there is certainly a lot of RP. This ranges from people aligning themselves to certain factions, like the CVA alliance, which claims a 0.0 region in the name of the Amarr Empire, to groups like Star Fraction, who are opposed to all empires.
I don't know a lot about the RP community myself, but if you want to align yourself to a certain faction it may be worth checking out the chat channel ingame for that empire. They are already pre-listed in the chat channels list, so it's not hard to find them

There's a list of roleplaying corporations (like PIE, my corporation) at the top of the Recruitment forum. There are also forums for IC discussion (Intergalactic Summit and Corporations and Alliances Summit) which you might want to look into - they could give you some idea of the different factions and options available.

A site that we all use is located here.
Everything from discussion of characters and PF, to collaborative events, to the occasional flamewar between people of differing RP viewpoints can be found here .
The IGS is the main board for the RPers here, with the Library and a few other forums useful as resources - I'd suggest spending a few days to weeks just thinking about who you want your character "to be", their background, then how that would motivate them to see politics and life in EVE. Everything else flows from there.
