First time I heard of the I thought, "Wow, cool name". It probably never hold a station again. It chose the wrong side. They are now running around lowsec. As one of it's last moves before IRON left the south, they took gunboats space. BoB took it back as Iron was pulling out of the South back to there station systems, where they met with humiliating defeat.
Let's look at what happened at these two minor space holding alliances that got crushed by the behemoth's in this war. Iron got kicked out without even a fight. Less than 10 ships were lost by BOTH sides when Iron's stations fell. Where is Iron now? The coalition took care of them, and gave them a station in the drone regions. Gunboat? Despite a valiant defense, they crumbled. BoB moved in after Iron moved out, and kicked gunboat out. At least they didn't publicly humiliate them like they did Xelas. I wonder what is going to happen with Southern Connection. Are they even welcome in BoB space anymore? Will Bob's allies find them a new home like Iron's allies did? or are they just going to be cast off?
Rise's members should be asking themselves the same questions. What is going to happen if we fall? If BoB wins this war, does anyone here believe that gunboat diplomacy will ever be allowed to hold a station again in Bob's sphere of influence?

That's one of the main differences between The Coalition and The Alliance. The Coalition consists of alliances that work together on many occasions, and when things go awry like it went up north, alliances that lost space like IRON and Most Harmless were looked after and soon found a home amongst their allies, whereas most alliances in The Alliance are minions and only work to please BoB, and when their performance isn't satisfactory anymore, they are kicked out, shot upon and left to die.
Now, the pool of people that want to work as a minion only to get kicked out the space they fought and died for is rapidly diminishing, and it will eventually reach a critical minimum which will cause BoB to fight alone for the first time in their existance. No more pets, no more meatshields, just core BoB. The Greater BoB Community will cease to exist, and all because BoB leadership dreams of grandeur.

GUN was not kicked out. It was apparent we no longer had the strength to maintain that area of space so I made arrangements with BoB to retake control of their station long before the flip actually happened.
I just wanted to say that BoB treated our corp and alliance better than everyone else (excluding our close friends) in the GTU's history. We had an agreement and BoB was always very accomodating, often doing much more for us than our agreement required. Our leaving Querious was due to internal issues in the corp.

RISE have shown themselves to be very committed and not a bad bunch of guys at all (considering they are -10 to me), I wouldn't think many groups would have any problem with the main corps from that alliance tbh or even in dealing with them as a whole down the line (once they get out of RIT ofc ).

Care to back that up with reason, use some examples, or are you just going to throw baseless accusations around? If you can't be bothered to back up what you have to say, why should anybody believe you?

oh god! your posts are very inacurate as always...
Mostly Harmless never lost their space, BOB treats its tenants much better than northern alliances do and BOB will never fight alone. They are so ahead in this game, in every term, that it's very hard to see them loose. Their 'pets' have stronger will than once big D2 or always crappy IRON, they are way more ritch...
You can restrain them a bit - they wont be able to control all 0.0 but they will never loose...

Just because your alliance hasn't been backstabbed and kicked out by BoB yet doesn't mean it isn't going to happen eventually, just like with every other alliance BoB worked with in it's existance. Of course, notable exception would be FIX, they have survived as a BoB pet far longer than most people would have thought, probably cause it's a good training alliance for potential BoB members, just as the MC is.

People continue to insist that tenants/pets/whatever other name you desire to call us, have a bad life under our landlords, it is simply not true. BoB is about as accomodating as anyone could hope a landlord could be. You would figure as soon as we gave up control of 0oy to them that they would kick our insignificant little 6 man corp out back to empire, but no, instead they work their tails off to find us a place to settle down to play the game. We dont fight for BoB because our tenancy depends on it, we fight for them because their a great, nice group of people who are always there for us, and we've made friends with all the other friendly corps. We're not mindless drones trudging into the path of bullets for our masters, we're just friends playing a game. Im sure, Rise,RMF, SCA,ISS and everyone else feels the same way. If we had a bad life would we stick around this long? Judging by the Gunboat Diplomacy post a few posts above, they left of their own free will, they werent forced. If BoB kicks you out, theres a dang good reason. Also, id like to say that ive had loads of fun fighting Goons ,TCF, RA,UNL, Ka-tet and the rest these past few months, been a real blast.

I may be completely wrong here since I just woke up but as far as I can remember the reason you've been treated poorly were those 2-3 backstabs during the NFC fiasco. It's all about choosing your side at critical moments and seems like you simply failed to navigate through the political side of things.

This may be true, but it does not change the fact that we were treated with respect and generosity while in Querious.
BTW, after a couple years or so up there, then moving south, I hate the north.

Oh how misinformed you truly are.
Gunboat had been crumbling for a while and only had 2 pos's up in h74 when Iron made a move for it. Gunboat didn't even try to defend it..I'm sorry, but why should anyone let an alliance like that control one of your stations?
In terms of everyone just trying to please Bob, that's not really true. Xelas weren't evicted because their "performance wasn't satisfactory". They were ousted because they constantly broke part of their agreement with Bob over residing in fountain. Macro ratters and such.
"Now, the pool of people that want to work as a minion only to get kicked out the space they fought and died for is rapidly diminishing, and it will eventually reach a critical minimum which will cause BoB to fight alone for the first time in their existance"
Quite simply, proof or stfu. Bob space still has alot of renters and not huge amounts have left. Fix and MC are the biggest organisations that reside in Bob space and we aren't exactly going to leave any time soon. We have our space to defend and if ever someone gets far enough into Bob's territory to cause concern, they'd have us to deal with as well as Bob, it's beneficial for all involved. It's a mutual defence and prosperity agreement. We help eachother in defending our assets, and we both come off better in the end for it. That's the basic deal with everyone, the only difference here being that unlike most other residents of Bob space, FIX don't pay rent.
So very basically, no. Bob isn't crumbling because the little pets are running away or being evicted, that just isn't true and really isn't anywhere near being true. Xelas and Gunboat screwed up consistantly, gunboat just buckled under their own weight nevermind Bob's.
