We are a small to medium-sized, PvE-oriented corporation, mostly mission running for various Caldari (and some Amarr) corps. With the approaching debut of factional warfare, we wish to recruit more interested people within our ranks, or even get a strong enough userbase to run some L5 missions.
We are CASUAL players mostly, not completely PvP averse ("carebears with teeth"), with occasional bursts of team hyperactivity, and a couple of "hardcore" mission runner characters.
Currently based in Aramachi (6 jumps away from Jita, same region), running missions for "Peace and Order Unit". Not the best of agents, not the quietest system either, but it's (for now) our home. There is a L5 agent in Maila a couple of jumps away (jump directly from a highsec into it), but the area is claimed by pirate corps, so we're not running those missions yet (not worth the risk, even if most of us have access to the agent already, L4s in groups are more profitable). We also have an office in a station with medbay in LJ-YSW, but we're not using it currently.
Being a (mostly) Romanian language speaking corp, it would be an advantage if you can understand it. We do have some non-Romanian players, so it's not such a big deal if you don't understand it, everybody can understand English anyway. It's just not spoken unless needed.
What we ask from you
You must be willing to improve your Caldari State standings, and not care about what happends to Gallente/Minmatar standings. It doesn't matter all that much what your current standings are, as long as they're not too far into the negative.
In order to maintain membership, you either have to already have +6.0 or above Caldari State standings, or constantly improve your standings towards that goal (faster would be better, but we're not absurd).
You can run missions solo as much as you like, but if another corp member wants to run group missions and there's nobody else to team up with, you MUST be willing to invite him in your gang and mission. Of course, that's only valid if you are running missions. We don't mind you sitting idle or AFK... just don't be selfish.
You are not allowed to set up market scams or other such things. You are not allowed to provoke or initiate hostile acts in highsec or Caldari/Amarr lowsec. Defence is another matter altogether though. In non-Caldari/Amarr lowsec or in 0.0, all bets are off, you're free to do as you like.
What we have to offer
Ability to operate a Caldari highsec POS (later on, when standings are fixed).
Fast-forwarding to access of the L4/L5 agents in Peace and Order Unit, through mission standing gains sharing.
Membership in a corporation that will be ready for Caldari-loyalist factional warfare when it comes out.
An environment that makes it very likely to have a partner for mission-running available. Team missions are easiewr, faster, and bring in more revenue as solo mission running.
Added bonus, ability to install jump clones in Peace & Order Unit stations (if not right away due to recent joins of other people, then in a couple of days for sure). Also, another bonus, ability to easily place (at just the added cost of one medical clone and 24h wait if you have a blank clone available) a jumpclone in LJ-YSW.
And of course, the chatty environment of an corporation channel. But that last part, you can get "for free", without having to join us.
How ? Simple. Only private matters are discussed on the private corp channel. Everybody talks almost exclusively on the " CNVTF " public channel. Feel free to join it if you have any further questions about our corp, or are interested in joining us.
P.S. We don't care what other characters you have or what they do, as long as you don't involve them with us in any (negative) way. But if your "other chars" cause problems for our corporation, it's kicking time.

We're up to 16 members now, with no less than 11 of them having PERSONAL access to a L5 agent already. In other words, if we get larger numbers together, we can almost guarantee picking the L5 mission we like (and where we like). Our last L5 mission extravaganza was yesterday evening, and 8 "corpies" participated. So hop on if you want, join the fun while we're still recruiting. _

Akita generally posts sensible and thoughtful things so it's safe to say this corp is smarter than the average bear.
Akita, you may also want to put a post on SHC as well so you don't get a headache bumping this one.

The OP mistakenly listed "Aramachi" as our base of operations instead of Abagawa. Well, there's no Peace&Order stations in Aramachi (that was our old base of operations, left more than half a year ago due to heavy "Motsu" lag), it's not in the same region as Jita, and our HQ is in Abagawa (as can be seen in-game in our corp description). It went unnoticed until now, when somebody tried to apply in Aramachi instead of going directly to our listed HQ. So, my apologies to all those that might have had to take an extra 10 jumps because of that until now.
P.S. Only 6 slots left right now. _

Still here, still recruiting, growing larger (and hopefully also stronger) by the day.
And a little bonus to "Caldari loyalists", a nice little dreamish, positively insane, not too feasable theme-song-inspired ship setup: Can't Stop the Rokh ! Best viewed if you also have this opened up in the background _

Akita, just make an alt with corp-management 5.
Let him join your corp and make him CEO. Let him update the mumber of members your corp can handle and make yourself CEO again.
Simple way to get 50 members .. you can even do it on a trial account

Well, it's not like I can't train up to support even 200 members easily, it would be barely a 5-day train for that.
I just like to keep the corp as small as possible, with most of the members ACTIVELY running missions, even if half-idly. What would be the point of 200 members if only 20 of them are "alive and kicking" ? I'd rather have 40 total, out of which 10 are somewhat active at any given time
If you think you'll fit in, you can as well just place an application directly, no need to have prior contact. If you think you can't follow the rules and can't work on standings for a long time, then don't bother... you'll only end up kicked out eventually, and you'd have just wasted both our times.
Yes, we do have some spots left right now. We do screen members for minimal performance increases every once in a while... if no progress is made, and you have no good excuse for that, you're out.
And yes, we are still recruiting. _

Ok, back down to 26 members out of 40 max at the moment.
A couple of normal members left for PvP corps, one PvE alt member left so he could sell the char, and the usual churning out of longer-term no-progress people. So... plenty of spots left... max 14 right now, might be 15 soon (another PvE to PvP change for a member announced).
Hang around on the public channel "CNVTF" to ask questions, or just drop an application in Abagawa. _

Seemingly, we almost reached our initially intended cap, 38 members already, and we're getting pretty "multinational" too... a lot of members don't speak Romanian, and English is more and more often used in the public channel.
Since newcomers seem to make life more interesting, approach slightly changed to "the more the merrier", so I've decided to take the plunge and train megacorp management Translation ? Plenty of free space for anybody interested to join. But, there's a catch. As always.
The catch is... less lenience on "slackers", and tighter rules over who gets access to what. Bottom line, we're no longer requiring any lengthy application approving process (not that it was too long before either), you can simply come over and fill an application in the Abagawa Peace and Order station. HOWEVER, if I catch you slack off for too long WITHOUT having notified me (so I can add a note to your profile), you're out. Of course, you're free to rejoin later, but... well... you get the idea.

In case you were wondering why we don't roleplay much... well, ok, it's not that we DON'T roleplay, instead it's that the role we do play kind of mix and matches with what a regular missionrunner would do. A bit of cut-and-paste info seems to be in order
"Peace and Order Unit is the police and security arm of the Sukuuvestaa mega corporation. As the mega corporations only trust each other so much, they all have their own police force to guard their properties." So, we mostly working as freelancers for the police force of a Caldari Megacorp... right ? But what megacorp is that ? "Sukuuvestaa, or SuVee as it is commonly called, is the largest real estate dealer within the Caldari State, it is estimated that they and the companies under them own nearly 40% of all land in Caldari space. SuVee is the second largest of the Caldari mega corporations and is known for its ruthless, often unethical, business practices. Well, I'll be damned... we're not only mercenaries in the service of a megacorp, we're working for the police arm of one of the richest ones, and a pretty damn ruthless one on top of everything else (leader of the "Practical" faction of the Caldari State, imagine that).
Basically... we roleplay what we do, because what we do is pretty much what we would be expected to roleplay In it for the money, only for the money, and getting paid by a ruthless, unethical employer. That about sums up the missionrunner job, doesn't it ? Point on the map, we go kill, we get paid... we ask no questions, we need no answers _ Char creation | Stacknerfs | Invention |CNVTF |

Right now the maximum corp membership count is 150 (and only 40 slots occupied), and we can support 60 non-caldari characters (less than 10 right now)... if needed, I'll be training corp skills more, but I don't think I'll need to :p
WE ARE STARTING AN END-OF-YEAR MEMBERSHIP DRIVE.
I will be appointing personnel managers on top of existing ones to handle Members and personnel managers, feel free to invite people to our chat channel for info, and explanations about the corp.
All applicants meeting the criteria are to be accepted ASAP, and we will be having a performance evaluation early in 2008 (thinking 5-10 jan first, then 25-30 jan again) in which those who show no improvements at all will get booted then. The rules are simple... applicants must: * be willing to work for Peace & Order unit * move to Abagawa for the time being * behave and cooperate * fill out an application to our corp in Abagawa VIII - Moon 4 - P&O station C|S|I|N|x. |

We're currently engaged in a war, so public recruitment is halted until after the war concludes (whenever that will be, some time in late January or early February the earliest, I presume). I hope you understand WHY we can't accept any "unknown" corp members at the time being.

Still here, both growing and shrinking in numbers (as players join and inactives/underacheivers get the boot), so we're hovering around 40 active members most of the time. If you are a like-minded person, this might be one of the better places to be in.

Factional Warfare is coming soon, and we plan to join in as a corp sooner or later... at least, we ARE prepared, even if the prerequisites will be raised. No idea if we'll be joining from the first day of the Empyrean Age expansion or only later, but it's only a matter of time in case there's no huge drawback involved in joining.
