Having shields problems across many platforms. I have several ships in my fleet (ranging from frigates to battleships) that are loosing shields for no reason, just starts to drop. At one time, one of my pilots activited his shield booster to recharge his shield, but instead it drained the shield further. Also, our POS appears to have suffered from a similar fate. We have had patrols around the station non stop since introduced with last patch, once the shields reached 100%, they dropped to 8%. Previous emails gave notice that the station fell under attack and listed the attacker. I did receive a message stating the station was attacked, but it listed no attacker. Again, this attack somehow managed without the awareness of our sentries. Anyone else with similar stories?

There is no reason you should be getting unexplained shield drops. I have not heard of this problem.
If someone could run the logger and catch an unexplained drop and then email [email protected] with a description of exactly what was happening around the time it happened (and the log as an attachment) and what they did that might have caused it (activated shield booster), then I'll look into it.
Just keep in mind, the more information you provide about what happened and when, the more chance I have of working out what the problem was.

I've seen this too. How to reproduce:
- Fit 1+ power diagnostics
- Undock and dock
- Remove PD and fit something else
- Undock, and see the shield level is below full
- Activate shield booster and the shield will be REDUCED.

Correct, i had powerdiagnostics on my tempest yesterday and i couldnt get its shield higher than 98%

I'm still waiting on an answer as to why the new stations drop thier shields after DT and if this is going to be fixed today?

It's a bug with saving of the shield level, and it's supposed to be fixed during today's DT.

I guess this is not the issue here...
But sometimes when people complain about their shield dropping, it's because they've joined a gang with someone that has the gang skill...
Ie, their total shield has suddenly increased 8%, why it looks like their shield has dropped 7.4%...

Could be the GANG SKILLS.
If you are in a gang, and the person has gang skills, They will give you a 8% bonus to speed/shields....it will give the appearence of a 8% LOSS of shields, but it's just that your shields now hold 8% more. Check it out.

I can't see how it's the gang skill, as that would be a one time drop/gain once you joined the gang. The shields continued to drop throughout the day, but I do believe we were in a gang at the time. I had to activate my booster whenever I undocked and again every few minutes to get them back to 100%. That may be the root of the problem though.

This happened to me for the first time yesterday as well and had inconsistent (seemingly) behaviour.
I undocked and had apparent shield damage (I may have refitted with PD). Fired the shield booster, lost a chunk of shields and then the shield booster just stopped doing anything except draining cap.
After zoning into new system, the SB seemed to work again. Then some minutes later in the same system, it stopped working again.

Later i press Shield booster to test cap
OMG shield went 100-80-70------10% WTF

Exactly the same thing is happening to me.
/edit. I repackaged my PDS's and my shield booster. Refitted and I no longer loose any shield when activating the booster. Did not have time to find any rats to see if the booster is actually working properly though.
