Now yes I know this is probably a dead and dying subject in our EVE universe, but I am sick of all the people who whine, complain, and beg for CCP to nerf another function, mod, ship, etc in the game.
The last one was NOS. Ok fine, maybe overpowered, but I loved it :)
Now I hear Sensor Damps are on the hit list?
What next? Nano-Vexors?
I would like to start my own list of those who feel certain nerfs should be fixed. Maybe CCP will read this post and see what we would like in the game.
Peace

Could be. We'll have to wait and see.

They have already been hit, or did you miss the nano-nerf some how?

Nano Vexors seem to working for me, or maybe I just did not notice the nerf.

Edited by: Grez on 06/09/2007 22:38:12 Just because you love it, doesn't mean it's balanced.
NOS needed a nerf desperately, and no-matter what all the whiners say, the "nerf" balanced it perfectly. Sure, you can't use NOS alone as a weapon anymore, but it was never designed that way.
ECM was one overpowered, same was as damps are. The old ECM and the current damps work under the same princable, and with the current tournament going the way it is, it's pretty obvious that damps NEED a nerf.
Nano ships have already had a nerf, I don't think it's entirely right that any cruiser should be able to orbit you and not be hit no matter what you do though. There should be no setup that is invincable, or very effective against everything. There should be strengths, and there should be weaknesses.
The fact you're not noticing the nerf means you weren't using it in a way that was overpowered. It's just like NOS. I don't personally find any problem with the nerf because I'm using it in conjunction with other weapons, like it was intended.
If you're playing the game as intended, and using the weapons like you're supposed to, then nerfs don't hit you nearly as hard, if at all. The nerfs are there to bring the overpowered stuff back down to a level of which everything else is at. ---
