We have warp disruption bubbles and warp disrupt probes. As everybody is speed fitting these days I suggest the introduction of webifier probes with lets say 50% speed reduction. That would balance the imho still uber Vagabond a little. Even with Rapier or Huginn you cannot lock fast enough to double web Vagas flying away with 7k m/s. Or would that hurt too much for lone speed pvpers? What do you think about it?

1-You exaggerate-a lot. And a speed fit is pretty rubbish without the Nav skills to back it up.

A vaga can MWD back to the gate even when instalocked and dual webbed as by the time he shows on your overview as decloaked he's already at full speed on his, and his inertia carries him through.
Maybe if we played EVE on LAN that'd work. -- A Solo Arbitrator vid, Distortion by Corwain |

And if the "fast ship" is lagged thanks to those fabulous hypnotic bubbles, fighter drones, and other assorted crap at the typical 0.0 camp it gets caught as well.

I think when you have half your alliance guarding the only way in whoever you've got 1-2 people mining or ratting should have some degree of safety. As it is 1-2 ships in the game are nearly invincible, and accordingly Vagas are the only HAC I've seen used solo in 0.0 since I moved there for the first time in late 2005.
On topic I think that perhaps bubbles should act like deadspace (in a way they are) in that you can't activate MWD in em. -- A Solo Arbitrator vid, Distortion by Corwain |

rubbish idea. every gate would get dubble-bubbled (warp+web) and virtually any ship arriving on the other side would have no chance of escape.
"OMG USE A FAST SCOUT LOL!!1!"
Except your fast scout would just get killed at every single gate instead, and you wouldn't actually get anywhere.

Other stipulation in the other thread was that you can not use both boubbles in conjunction with one another. Wherever they overlap = no effect from either of them. ---

Let me remind you that these would only be launched in 0.0. As such let me further point out that 0.0 is not the place to be wandering around alone, especially in enemy space where said enemy has the time to anchor them.
It's not like dictor bubbles would have this effect, roaming gangs wouldn't be able to suddenly just drop one on you, however if you work your way down a pipe alone into enemy territory I think you should have some risk coming back out through chokepoints where they know you'll be forced to go through.

I like this Idea... Forget webber Bubbles, just make it so you can't activate MWD's while in the bubble...
