I felt the other thread had gone off topic (sorry Jim) so I've started a new one.
This time I hope to keep the discussion to one group of events that happened in Belgium in 1990.
There are plenty of links out there to this but I'm only going to give one link. This vid is only 3 mins long and I urge you to watch it all the way through.

It goes off topic a bit now and then, but its a good thread. It will get back on topic as soon as I find some new good videos to discuss. :)
But the more UFO threads, the better, in my opinion. The more people talk about it, the less tabu it will be and the harder it will be to ridicule people.
Interesting video by the way. --- The Disclosure Project | My UFO Thread (read it!) |

I just read them for the amusement factor to speed up my day at work. Sorry Jim.
They're still fascinating though

shall do.
I have actually seen ufo's twice, once when I was 15 me and my friends saw bright lights in the sky doing geometric patterns at mad speeds, and the other year when me and a friend were laying on our backs on some grass :P and lo, a mostly black disc - with clear, seemingly large dimensions - spinning, flew far above our heads...then went zooooooooom and vanished.
The first I thought could be a massive objects gravity (it certainly wasn't atmospheric) bending a few far away star's light about, making it wobble in the sky..But that makes no sense for the right angles it did, etc....the most recent was just weird, clearly a classic UFO shaped large spinning disk
My opinion is perhaps 'they' are showing glimpses of themselves to us over time, allowing the reality of an overwhelmingly, vastly technologically superior form of life to become familiar to us (they understand that simply landing and saying "heya" would cause our societies to implode and self-destruct) and that one day in the far future they will say hello for real :P
for sure, either humans have absurdly advanced aviation technology at our disposal that makes the best our militaries have look utterly pathetic and all our forms of propulsion beyond archaic, or there really are aliens up there.

Edited by: Blacksilk on 07/09/2007 21:35:07 I am willing to accept that what was seen over over Belgium in 89/90 could have been an advanced prototype aircraft of some sort. But if it was, somebody somewhere has some very nice technology they are not sharing - or have incorporated into any known aircraft today, and remember this happened 17 years ago.
The thing that goes against it being a prototype is the sheer amount of risk. What if something had gone wrong and it had crashed?(As prototypes can do) Not only do you risk leaving secret technology in the hands of a foreign power, but you also risk being identified as international law breakers. Not something any government wants to have to explain to its populace.

Alternative hypothesis: 'They' are already among us but want to keep their presence covert as long as possible so to aid in that they are attempting to keep the notion of alien life visiting earth as ridiculous as possible by providing evidence only a tinfoilhat would find compelling thus associating belief that EBE's are visiting earth with internet crazies.
It's psywar man! They're here! They're among us! They're replacing us with pod people!

Watch this guy:
Philip Schneider was a engineer who worked for the US government and in the last few years of his life revealed many secrets about what has being covered up. As a result he was murdered for this in 1996. Here is the lecture that got him murdered, recorded 6 months before his death.

Holy hell, it's not taboo to talk about.
It's just that your average person, like me, just doesn't give two ***** about wether or not little gray men are coming to our little corner of the galaxy to **** with us.
Please, enough of those goddamn UFO threads already. Hardly anyone cares. Once you've seen one blurry, shaky, unsteady and foggy video of a "spaceship", or a self proclaimed "expert" showing you "irrefutable proof" of a "government conspiracy", you've seen them all.
Until they personally come around to mess with my head, I just won't care. And neither will most people.
Please, take it to another forum. There are hundreds of websites and forums all over the internet dedicated to talking about this stuff. It was mildly interesting here at first, but seeing dozens of these same threads here is just getting annoying.

Im actually quite amazed by how few people care about it. I dont understand why either. Isnt it very interesting to know that there are other races out there? Dont you want to know what they want?
We watch sci-fi TV shows with an interest of what happens, dont we? Why arent you interested in the same thing when its about the same thing in real life?
Personally, I think its more interesting than anything else on this planet, and I really think we as a race could use some help from other civilizations before we blow ourselfs up completely.
And as for "noone cares", well, I dont care about the hundreds of completely idiotic threads about nothing. But I dont whine about them. Let people post what they want?

I personally don't care because it doesn't affect me in any way whatsoever. It's a bit like third world countries, except people don't pretend to care about it.
I am interested in whether or not there is life out there, and I'm pretty damn sure there is, although I'm very sceptical that said life likes taking roadtrips to earth to mess with the local barely-sentient species' heads.
At the moment, for me, there is nothing to be in interested in, there's no proof of anything, besides trekkies who took bad acid in the 80s and now call themselves experts rambling on about government conspiracies.
Until those dudes decide to land in the middle of the UN's councilroom and go "lol hai guise, have some technology", all it's got going for it is shaky videocameras taking pictures of fog in the sky.

Well, the stories around this is that the aliens have problems reproducing themselfs. So they abduct people and create alien hybrids. The government has agreed to accept this in exchange for alien technology. The purpose of the abductions is to both help the aliens and help ourselfs.
Thats the story of the "greys" kind of alien anyway. Im not saying its the truth, its just the story that is being told by people who have been abducted.

Well, its unique in that it says that the Belgium government first thought it was atmospheric interference or electromagnetic interference, but later on, they find out that the objects was real because they show up on radar.
So they send up aircrafts which confirm they are there.
Its basically the same old story, but with the difference that the belgium government doesnt try to cover it up like the American government does.

Humanity, being on the large scale of things a rather young and primitive species, can right now reproduce without even having to resort to the primitive act of gettin' jiggy wit it. We can just barely send manned missions to our own planet's moons, and we've never even went to another planet or left our solar system.
The technology required to cross solar systems in something less than eons is so phenomenal, that the mere act of reproducing is utterly trivial in comparison. Even assuming that these aliens are unable to reproduce in the good old fashioned way that all terrestial life does it (I'm assuming that they're system is somehow at least vaguely similar to ours) due to some weird-ass condition, then they should have no problems whatsoever tossing a bit of alien-DNA into a cloning vat or they're equivalivent.
That "but they need us to make ze alien babies!" story is so thin, you can see through it with a flashlight.

They dont need to mute anyone, they just need to not acknowledge it as being flying saucers. Just like they do to this day. You cant proof what you see. No evidence, no case.
Im pretty sure people were talking like crazy about what it was for a while, but when the government either ridicule them or dont acknowledge them, what are they going to do?
They are seen as hippies or maniacs even today. Denial works, because people believe their government over some hippie web page, even when its the web page that has the truth.

Damn hippies.
Anyway, I'm not entirely unconvinced that there might be some aliens around, but my theory would be that they'd be sort of like a interstellar version of David Attenborough; studying and making funny and dramatic TV shows about more primitive species.
