Hello Evians,
I'd just like to say hello as this is my first post on this 'ere forum.
An introduction to my situation: This is the first mmorpg I've played - I was introduced about 5 months ago by a friend who has since stopped playing. He gave me loads of advice, and the past 5 months I've learned a lot about the game mechanics of Eve, but my friend managed to scare me into not going down to low-sec space because of all the nasty gate-campers and piwates I've heard tale of. This coupled with an overwhelming majority of Corps looking for people with 5mil+ SPs minimum to join, I decided to sit in High Sec running missions and training skills until I felt I was ready to enter the PvP world of Eve.
It's dawned on me recently, that daily PvE and skill training is rather boring and players refer to people like me as Carebears, which I'm not really happy with, hah!
About me: I'm a Caldari pilot with 3.5mil SPs, and a few frigates / couple of cruisers. I'm really looking to start with the PvP side of Eve, but don't really see the point if I'm just going to get blown up as soon as I enter low-sec. I don't mind paying for new ships or whatever, but I also don't want to waste my time, as the turnaround in this game doesn't appear to be too fast- and silly losses I regard as a waste of time!
I'm in the UK, I work at home so I'm around a lot, although I have quite a few commitments which mean I can't be around all the time. I'd like to join a bunch of mature and friendly people who are willing to gradually introduce me to PvP, if this isn't too much to ask. I really want to be part of something and help contribute to a corp - I have no real selfish goals apart from wanting to go into combat. I have little regard for my security status, which at the moment is unreasonably high thanks to all the missions I've done.
As long as I'm learning, contributing towards something and have the collateral to survive, I don't mind what the hell blows up. Sorry for the long post, I look forward to hearing from some of you :)

Ok mate, you've got SP way lower than our usual requirment but sometimes we strike gold on some players who have low sp but catch on to 0.0 pvp very quickly.
If you willing to stick to flying a certain ship type until yuo've got the basics and listen carfuly to instructions over ts then things should be fine.

Types of players wanted - We are after all types of players, we need to set up a strong combat core supported by an equally strong production core. We accept young or old players and accept all races. So basicly everyone.
Extras - We have 5 director posisions open these are for players 3 months and up and will be given to the 5 players showing most loyalty. We need them for verious roles for example we need production managers and combat comanders as well as research directors and so on.
How to join - Simply make your way to maut and its the only station there that you need to dock at, when there all you do is click on the offices tab on the right about half way up the screen and look for Alpha Core's office and submit your application.
Our goals for present and future -
combat ~ We aim to set up a combat school to train new players how to fight in many stles like npc hunting, pvp and pve. We aim to do this by recruiting older more experienced players to train them in 1 on 1 lessons, Each experienced player will recieve a title and an apprentice to take care of and train.
Production ~ We want to setup a strong force to mine complete belts and churn out as many ships as possible to support the war effort ACEv may have. To do this we need players in barges and big haulers as well as players with alot of production and refining skills. There will be different levels of comand that you may obtain from mining squad comander to production director what you get is upto how loayl you show ureself to be.
Research ~ As we are still a young corp we have limited number of blue prints but as all blue prints work off the same factors we still require them to be researched. We as a corp are still new to this area and would like players who are experienced with research to come and join us and show us how to do it.
General activity - We usually allow players to do as they please unless the corp needs something or the alliance requests our help. Anythin a member does will have the support of the corp and its members unless it goes against the rules of eve or our own house rules. We have some general activities such as npc hunting, player hunting or gang fights. We are a fun loving corp and are never to serious.
Rules for the corp - Ceo's and directors orders are final when it comes to corp activities. If the alliance requests something of you and there are no ceo's or directors about to confirm this you must accept the comand. When corp ops are planned you must make an effort to support it in whatever field it may be in. No stealing from corp or corp members. No foul language or bullying. No provoking people into fights unless first allowed by the ceo or Directors.
Life is for fun just enjoy the game.

Hello Sceptrum
I am CEO for a new corp ( I have actually been playing since 04 but gave away my old character to start again, and begin afresh, i have lots of ingame knowledge and pvp experience)
We are developing into a pvp orientated corp, we currently are around your age and working as a team to help each other develop.
We use TS and Vent to talk, I am UK too and it would be great to get another new member to help build our growing team.
We are a friendly bunch, and though we do have a laugh , we are aiming for a more mature approach to the game, in that we are trying to aim for the long term goals in the game, and develop a very profficient corp

Hello Sceptrum.
I am the CEO of a smaller PVP corp. We currently live in lowsec and roam into local 0.0 with small gangs of faster ships (frigs and cruisers). There really isnt much else other then killing people and their assets.
Though if you do need some isk deu to badluck we have access to some 0.0 and we use vent for our fun :)
Oh do note that JJ has been kicked from NEX.
